Is this still the same for fire and sword? (I've only played m&b 1)

Mount and Blade was out since 2005. it had only 2 factions and one neutral city called zendar core of the game was the same. Do little research before offending this low buddget epic game. :D

Btw warband's Combat System is much better than Skyrim's.

just because in Skyrim when bots or player get hit, they dont make any movement.

in Warband every single Playermodel express something when being hit or damaged.

this game stinks... why guns instantly kills you with 1 shot... to many times you will find yourself having the AI getting the drop on you. Very often in city battles the first volly shot from the enemy on the city wall will drop you within the first 3 seconds, (thats not fun) and its not just city battles. Get warband which has better everything.

I agree with most things you said, but you said that if world map is like in OBLIVION the game would be great...???? no way, it would totally ruined the game and I TOTALLY HOPE that in M&B 2 or whatever they stay with the core elements of their games but improve the combat and AI, the game is epic and deserves a lot

I love M&B, but this is just the same thing with a slow 'superweapon' that takes fun away. I'd rage like hell if I got shot from god knows where and died in one hit while riding my horse around. The next installment of M&B needs be on a new engine, that gives it better visuals and physics, larger more interesting environments, all that jazz. I don't want guns, I want a better UI, maybe voice acting. The same dynamics M&B offered on an A list level.

The meleeing in this game is so slow and the first person view is not that enjoyable so you'll be in 3rd person most of the time. To be honest I bought this game after a few youtube videos. Finding out is not that great and the combat system akward and out dated. Especially if you're big on realistic first person action then this is not your cup of tea. Oh well just a waste of few bucks for me.

THINK, THINK THINK, that's what made M&B so successful in the first place, that is why it's open world works, the battles work and it's the best template for modders altogether.

@Mongify1 I know dude but Its not nations in warband but more like Cultures. and I think Swadia isnt the kingdom of sweden it looks west europeans cause they are heavily armed and use of crossbow makes them more western europeans. The Vaegirs looks like Slavic.

Nords looks like Scandinavians and more like Swedes. Rhodox more Southern Europeans. khergits looks like easterns (mongolian). sarranids are more like turks,syrians arabs etc...

it was much fun to deal with these guys than nations.

Warband is better, because of 3 things.

1. Medieval times is coolest

2. Firearms are pure luck and little skill. In warband using ranged is all skill

3. Warband has some damn badass mods in multi and single. This one mybe will have some one day too, but for now Warband dominates

I understood they wanted this game to appeal to people in Eastern Europe. To be fair I live in Eastern Europe and it doesnt appeal to me. I whould have been way happier if they made the siege better. Warband forever!!!!

ok... i have had the game for about 2 months now and everything he says is pretty much true. Another thing the ai does bad is that one of your allies (ai) will aim at an incoming enemy swordsman. He has a clear shot right to the head but waits and waits and then the swordsman gets to him and he just gets his head cut off... btw AWESOME GAME
