I watched this play live from the 4th row in St.Jimmy theater a few days ago.Best night of my life. incredible acting, perfect singing, and it drew you in. you never wanted to look away. and whoever played St.Jimmy, holy crap it was epic. He was like a goth kid. they portrayed his drug-addictness very well, he was super thin and they put white makeup on him to make him pale. and they played the best of the best Green Day songs. I HIGHLY reccomend watching this play if youre ever in the Big Apple

After whatching this I really want to go see the show! I remeber a few years ago Green Day talking about making "American Idoit" into a show, but Billie wasn't quite sure if he was ready for that yet. I guess him and the rest of the band, ( Mike Drint and Tre Cool) are already to see the stage in a new light. Good Luck guys!

Oh, and to everyone asking about a soundtrack, one of the women handing out wristbands in line told me that they're hoping to get it out by opening night, April 20th. They already have some ready to go, they played recorded versions of "American Idiot", "Wake Me Up When September Ends" and "Boulevard of Broken Dreams" playing somewhere near the entrance.
