this grip won't work with my d90, something wrong with reading the battery info, has to loose the grip in able to read the battery info. can anyone tell me how to fix this?
@yupdatsme718 i think our difference from what is semi pro and expert is little today. d7000 is all we all want. visit... freedsl r . co m remove spaces and get an opportunity to win a Brand New Nikon D7000
Ok great information...I've got a question though. I've just purchased the MB-D80 and when i place two fully charged batteries in it, it shuts down. With one(on the left side) I'm in business. Is it me? Is it the MB-D80?
Hi i need your help, i just bought a MB-D80 for my D90, but its only work with one battery, when i put in two Lithium Battery then it doesnt work, its only show a battery level on top screen blinking on and off but the camera doesnt come on. But once i take out the right battery then it works. thanks hope to hear from you soon.
It adds stability when using larger or heavier lenses, multiple shutter release buttons and extended battery power if you install 2 batteries in the base of the grip and the ability to use AA batteries (6) if necessary.
Can you tell me the advantage to mark them left and right? It doesn't make sense to me since it erases the history of amount of pictures shot when you charge it right?
Gotta shell out the big bucks if you want to look like a pro. Most common people will think you're rolling with the big boys, but Nikon enthusiasts will know better.
Can you mount the MB-D80 to a D50? They share virtually the same body. Obviously the buttons wouldn't work, but could you still benefit from having 2 batteries or 6 AA batteries?
First of all, thank you for the video. It is usefull :) How do you find N D80 as a camera? Is CCD sensor ruining all the joy of using useful high sensitivities of ISO ? I am wodnering to buy D80.
Thx for that :)

Dumb dumb.
1. With the camera turned off (sure no battery is inserted)
2. Next step, with the camera still off, is to go ahead and install the batteries

I'm contemplating on getting this. Is it really worth $170 for longer battery life and a different shutter location?

It's nice if you are shooting with a large heavy lens. Gives better grip.

It helps if shooting with larger lenses or if you prefer to shoot sidways w/o doing the elbow reach for the buttons.

isn't there any grip out there that is flush with the D80/D90, making it look like a D3x or something?

They have LCD ones on ebay for around £80, These would make your camera look very D3x'ish.
