I do not own one so I cant say for sure but If the dome is glass, I hope that the people who complain that it cracks too easily let it cool before they try to wash it. Putting hot glass in cold water is never a good idea.
do you have to flip the chicken when you cook it? not like a whole chicken, but like 4 oz pieces? also, how fast does it cook vegetables? and how does it steam if there's no water? also, is it easy to clean?
I replace Nuwave crack dome plastic every 6 months, it no good it cost me total 25.00 dollar it is cheap plastic! so I brought Big Boss Rapid Wave Oven it is pure glass bowl is better , and low- energy oven rated 1,300 watts than nuwave's 1,500 watts..
damn, I wouldnt want her cooking for me, she didnt put any seasoning on those wings. I cook oven fried breaded wings in my nuwave and they turn out sooo good. a trick to avoiding a lot of mess is aluminum foil or parchment paper....
@Tampabruh lol.. The wings I cooked in there were for hotwings. I use butter, Frank's Red Hot and lots of cayenne for the wing sauce and my husband absolutely loves it. I'll get another video on here with breaded/seasoned wings.
@Lupthegrove Yeah, it works awesome. I don't think I've ever burned anything in the Nuwave. It always cooks everything perfectly. Most of the stuff I cook comes right out of the freezer.
It doesn't brown the food, though, right? Can you toast in it? I love the way you have stuff in your sink and on the counter, like a real mom!! Thanks for sharing!
I have been reading a lot of reviews on the nuwave oven and it seems that a lot of people are saying that the dome cracks has yours and if so did you have the warranty and did the company replace it? Thanks for your help....:)
@hudginsrebecca Hello! No, the dome is still working good. I'm actually surprised that the dome would crack! It seems pretty durable to me. I don't put the dome in the Dishwasher. I wonder if that might cause cracking. I've always hand washed it ever since we got it. I'm sure they'd replace it within a year of cracking.
@andreareviews I had a nuwave for about 7 years. I washed the dome by hand until this past year when I started putting it in the dishwasher. After about a year, the dome cracked. I ordered another nuwave because I love it so much. I will not put this dome in the dishwasher. It is really easy to clean without using the dishwasher.
GREAT VIDEO, I noticed you didnt' season the wings? Did they turn out crispy? Have you made other stuff on this Nuwave? I'm thinking of getting one. Thanks.
@nemoryer Thanks! I did not season the wings. The Nuwave will crisp the wings which my Husband loves. It takes a little longer but worth it if you like your wings crispy. I've made tons of stuff in there. The only thing I suggest is to use gloves when you take the lid off. Id you don't watch what you're doing you can get a steam burn.
@guilhermeny The Nuwave is pretty easy to clean I think. It's easy to take it apart and throw it in the dish washer or even just hand wash it. The hardest thing to clean is the rack. I suggest you spray the rack with some cooking oil before you cook on it. You'll get some stuff like wings that will stick to it pretty good. I also take a wet paper towel after cooking and wipe down the power module real good. Grease builds up on it a little but but a quick wipe usually does the trick.
@Mrtidesout How did your wings turn out? We've cooked so many in your nuwave and absolutely love how they turn out. The best part about the Nuwave is the ability to take frozen meat and cook it fast yet retaining moisture in the meat. We have never had it turn to shoe leather or get really dry. It has always been a good meal!
Did you buy it at the store or from the infomercial?

The dome breaks in less than one year. Not worth it and they will not replace it

You know what I think is good is - the timer stops the cooking so you really can't burn stuff!
