  • Could they not get the rights to the theme song?

  • notice how when he gets the jackal he says it belongs in a museum .the place blows up and the hook falls next to him. this is similar to the last crusade when he gets the cross of coronado ,the ship blows up and the villains hat falls next to him.

  • @LEON13858 oh yeahh! good noticing!!! ^-^

  • Why diden't he just take the whip ? best part of this episode :D

  • Thanks for uploading, all I have is the DVD version. Where on earth did you find this?

  • love the ending old indy rocks

  • i just love the ending!!!

  • I love the music at 7:53.

  • EPIC ENDING!!

  • great series...I'd seen many Indiana Jones vids but never this one so nice new adventure:)

    thanks!

  • Ok heres a couple of questions.

Is the character that was blown up at the end the same villain at the beginning of INDY 3?

Also, in INDY 4, Indy tells Mutt that when he rode with Pancho Villa it was during the war against Victoriano Huerta (SPIT)

I was hoping to see the spitting again in this episode but I don't even recall Huerta even being mentioned.

  • No, they're not even the same actor. Paul Maxwell played the bad guy at the beginning of Last Crusade.

I think the "Crystal Skull" mention of Villa was a historical error. Villa DID fight against Huerta, but Huerta resigned the presidency in 1915 and lived in exile afterwards, whereas the second half of "Curse of the Jackal" takes place in 1916.

In late 1915/early 1916, Villa was actively fighting against the US due to the US's support of the Carranza regime in Mexico.

  • @ptm2020 What villian Fedora or Panama Hat? either way it's no.

and as for the second question I think he spits because he got phlegm in his mouth when he said "Hueta". Hope that help ;b

  • "It belongs in a museum."

    Classic!

  • "Trust me."

    Also classic.

  • "I hate snakes, Jock! I hate 'em!"

    Another classic

  • @awalterscheid Five words only Indy says, Superman says 'this looks like a job for superman' Indy says this and with pride.

  • @awalterscheid literally…

  • Love it.

At the beginning, those two kids thought the museum was boring. Then, after telling this wonderful tale, all old Indy has to do is point to the actual jackel head he was talking about, and they're completely enthralled. That's the power of a good storyteller.

  • YAY he gotsa hisa whippa!

  • aww man...theres no indiana jones classic theme song in this show

  • Actually, if you listen to the background music, it is variations of the classic theme.

  • It was lovely until ehe slid down the banaster...Indy was never that childish.

  • No the end was good! its just that he still has his sense of adventure and still has fun! besides who cares if hes childish indiana jones was and still is the greatest action hero of all time, and he's hot!

  • What the heck?! He saves the jackal but the rest of the treasures are blown into dust ='|

  • i liked it when indie was older, not really when he was young. but i like the ending how he slid down the banister. and how the kids ended up thinking that the Jackle was cool, even though i thought the same.

  • i remember seeing this as a kid when it first aired. thanks for posting. all i could remember was that the first half was Indy as a kid, the 2nd half as a teen, the jackal, and the fight with Dimitrius at the end. didn't remember Old Indy AT ALL. the title's kinda a misnomer, tho. what exactly IS the curse of the jackal? couldn't it have been "Search" or "Quest for the Jackal"?

  • no, curse of the jackal sounds more mysterious. remember? the curse was that whoever entered the tomb would be burned by his fire?

  • It's very strange... The action is pretty cool, but some of the dialog is weak. Especially when he was a child. The kid seemed way too influential in an adult world. It was weird. The actor who plays Indy as a teen does an excellent job playing Harrison Ford. Sometimes he even looks like him. He really has the movements down...

  • Makes you wonder whether he'd ever be considered should Harrison Ford decide he's too old to play Indy.... I'd rather him than Shia LeBouef as Mutt Williams!

  • Me too...

  • Damn. That would have been perfect.

    Why didn't they do that?

  • o_O ok indy just got a lot wierder when he's old.

  • AWESOME!!! Thank you Jennymalsbury!! I subscribed!!! I'v always wanted to see those!!!

  • This is great stuff!!!! in its' own way just as great as the Indy we know best with Harrison Ford!!

  • Watching this brought back tons of memories. Bravo for posting these videos, the ending was classic!

  • Love the end. He may be old, but he's still Indy!

  • @FettFan42 wonder how he got the eye patch

  • Well, I'm still not sure which version to like better, the one with Old Indy or the new one. They both have a distinct quality about them. Would have been great, if the DVDs had allowed for both of them to be included, but as with the Star Wars films that seems to be no option for George Lucas. Pity.

  • Him using the whip...the line "it belongs in a museum"... absolutely, perfectly Indy :)

  • Excelente poder ver a mi estimado joven Indiana Jones en México, país en el que habito. La Revolución... nadie sabe quien la gano, hubo héroes y malvados en todas partes. 3 Cheers for Jennymalsbury for put this videos on Youtube!
