  • You guys are aware you can now walk through Chernobyl itself all day virtually unprotected as long as you don't touch anything or go in any buildings, right? Belarus and these cities are in better condition than Chernobyl or Pripyat.

  • @deadeyeselh I am sure that if you you stay there the long term effects will cause cancer.

  • @rainerfilm Yes, I am sure too. But who's going there to pitch a tent and camp out for a month?

  • @deadeyeselh do you live in the area?

  • Can these children be adopted by Americans?

  • @Wivanunu Yes

  • Where is Vesnova? How far from Gomel is it? I will be in Gomel in May (if the volcano allows), and would really want to visit. Can anyone help?

  • unbelievable, that they aren't even wearing a mask. I wouldn't even move inside this area wearing an astronaut-suit or something... unbelievable.

  • Well they have a limited amount of time they can stay in the area without that kind of protective and restrictive outerwear. Remember they are trying to shoot a documentary and having masks and such make it almost impossible to do.

  • @Crizzey82 Why? Is the radiation high in this area? I thought it was far enough away from Chernobyl.

  • I cry everytime seeing this.

    So proud of you Aoif.

  • What an insprational video, It shows that people really care. God Bless the children, and all the volunteers. Robyn
