@johnycannuk If I take away your life by killing you, which is what happens when babies are brutally butchered through abortion, then what do you imagine you'll do after you're dead? Or does it matter at all? It would have to actually matter for you to claim that my beliefs are wrong. Of course, I have not just Jesus Christ and the word of God behind me, but also the history of societies and cultures the world over. That means in the end you have no way to stop my beliefs from winning over time.

Also, popular does not mean correct. Flat earth, sun circling the earth etc were all ideas widely held across many cultures. And all wrong.

Modern Christianity comes off as multi-level marketing. its about bums in pews or the number of people "saved", as if you get a prize fro convincing people to come into the religion.

Its never about individuals, its never about the actual "product" - supposedly love.

It is no irony that we hear lots about Deuteronomy and Numbers and the more vicious bits in John, but almost nothing from Matthew 25...

@johnycannuk Matthew 25 is addressed to and about Israel. Its not addressed to the Body of Christ for us to follow. But, then again, you have to actually read and study the bible to understand why that is and how God reveals His will chronologically. And it takes @ 3 minutes to explain what I just told you in retail so that it can be understood completely. And that 3 minutes is likely longer than you are willing to pay attention. So, don't blame me for what you don't know or understand pal.

I have read the Bible many times. It is one of the reasons I am an atheist. Matthew 25, which commands unconditional love and acts of compassion, is one of the few passages I find inspirational.

I'll give you 3 minutes. But first you must provide me evidence that your god is real and the Bible is his word. Good luck with that.

For most reasonable and rational people Jesus Christ's empty tomb, combined with the overwhelming amount of eye witness and written historical accounts of Jesus Christ's life, death and resurrection is sufficient proof.

All of your empty tomb and eyewitness are from the Bible, not elsewhere. There is no evidence outside of the Gospels that there even was a tomb to be empty. Even the claim of 500 is only from ONE of the gospels.

No, while accept there may have been a person at the root of it, Bible-Jesus is a myth
