  • aia aia???...incredible tecnique...no power. an attacker will be more powerful for adrenaline. I do not think they are real!women should be put in real situations

  • you have a 250 pound nut on drugs.. not going to let go. your best bet os to secure the wrist and applying downward pressure while you step back.. then stick your thumb in his eye as hard as you can.. then if you can get if off.. knee kick to the face.. AS HARD AS YOU CAN.. then run.. run run..

  • after they grab your hair, if you allow yourself to go down... it's not going to be such a great technique when they knee you in the face =\

  • ERRR.... BULLSHIT!!!

  • soooooooooooooo not realistic. It still amazing to me that people with these lofty belt ranks are so incredibly inept when it comes to making a separation between martial arts and practical/functional "self defense". not their fault in actuality I blame their instructors and organization who ever that may be.

  • After watching several of these self defenses video's for women! I think the moves are good if the attacker is distracted long enough for her to pull out a knife, gun, tazer or mace. But don't count on these type of techniques to save your life alone. Most adult males are not going to be stopped by one or two hit's and women should carry some sort of weapon for protection.

  • Lol

What i he grabs and kicks in face so u cant lean forward to grab hand :D

  • Why does she have his hand so far away from her center of gravity? Why not just keep his hand tight to her waist, and then use that to either face plant him into the concrete, or use the leverage to strike the elbow from behind to execute a joint break? He won't be grabbing anyone's hair after losing the use of his arm.

  • @CheshireCatFun lol face plant. love that saying...

  • Likely attacks combined with a hair grab:

    1-handed: slap/punch

2-handed: knee/simple drag to the floor

In the first case, bending forward and using both of your hands to grab their hands is likely to leave something open for an attack. On top of that, they're still in control until you release the grip, so taking a foot off the ground for a front kick is pretty much asking to be flung around like a rag doll.

In the second case the LAST thing you want is to bend over to meet their knee...

  • she reminds me of snooki :)

  • She is off balance by leaning over at the waist. She should have bent her knee and kept her back straight.

  • what she did was a nikkyo wrist lock but a good aikido/jujitsu practitioner would recognize she didn't do it correctly. you can't control someone when you're holding their wrist out to your side like that, she should have brought the wrist down to her midline right where the belt is tied. a 3rd degree should know better.. wow not very good self defense at all ughh

  • Any kick to a guys Groin is going to put him down.

  • Why do you all assume it's a man grabbing her hair? Other women would resort to that technique in a "girl" fight. Would hurt a lot to have your hair pulled like that, and she gives a pretty good technique, by gripping his hand and moving her whole body to turn his arm over (kind of like ikkyo in Aikido). Don't know about the kneeing or elbow in the back, as my martial art does not teach that way, but if it helps you get the person off of you, go for it.

  • 1:07 fucking hilarious

  • Every technique I've watched you demonstrate has been ridiculously unrealistic. You should be ashamed of yourself. You have never been in a real fight and it shows.

  • mala ejecucion no creo ke sean cinturones negros

  • this is a complete joke. any woman watching this i fear is going to get false confidence. when an attacker is barreling at a woman with little to know self defense training (other than watching this video) is going to instantly forget everything in the adrenaline rush and get pummeled. even if she did manage to remember no attacker would willingly let someone just manipulate their arm like that at will.

  • @BeggarSyu I used to have a girlfriend many years ago whom I used to take to her self defense classes. This was one of the first moves she was taught. I was there. Chances are, by the time the assailant has been kicked in the groin, the fight would be over right there and then, so no follow up moves like the wrist twist would be necessary. However it's good to know that if needed, the counter attack can continue until the adversary is totally neutralized.

  • @IAmOpenMinded Or the guy could get even more angry and lay a beat down. You ALWAYS need to counter attack until the oppoenent is dead or unconscience. One "attack" will just distract. 15 attacks will finish him.

  • @BeggarSyu Which is why self defense should be a life style thing, and not a 2 week event. Same thing with gun training. Police and soldiers dont train for 2 weeks and call it quits. They train for their entire careers and civilians should do the same.

  • i would just samck her in the face

  • You do know that in a real fight, your instinctive 'fight or flight' reaction is going to 'shut down' your fine motor skills. Which means any finger manipulation (in this case, securing his hands with your thumbs) is not going to work anymore. Your martial arts training is giving you a false sense of security. Goodluck fighting off a real attacker ;)

  • @IamSyme12 this isnt martial arts training, this is just a bad technique. When one has experience in fighting the "fight or flight" sendrome doesnt kick in as much because u no longer feel threatened as much. So dont lump her in with feel fighters of martial arts. This is just a small part of fighting, not the whole picture.

  • hmm yeah,,, you do know that in a real threatening situation your instinctive 'fight or flight' reaction would shut down your fine motor skills, which means any finger manipulation (in this case securing his hands with your thumbs) isn't going work as smooth as in a training situation, or isn't going to work at all. Good luck fighting off your attacker ;)

  • Instead of using the strike to the back, I would concentrate on the back of the neck instead. More nerves, arteries, and less muscle protecting the bones there. If you execute the elbow technique right. Instant knockout. But then again you might kill your opponent also. But then again, if someone were to attack you, that might have been their intention all along. Kill or be killed I say.

  • a third degree black belt in what?

  • mami you are so beatifull i would like to fight you im a MMA fither

  • IYA!!!! hahaha

  • that back strike is USELESS!

  • I like that your hands immediately went up to his, as that is what would happen if you didn't know what he was going to do and were completely surprised. One has to ask though: when you saw his hand coming up to your head, why didn't you respond then? Why wait until his hand actually grabs you? That would only happen if you were completely unaware of what was happening or distracted. That component of realism seems to be mssing from most MA training.

  • well , as soon as you escaped from the hair grab by striking into the groin area you should leave the scene as fast as you can cuz u dont know if the attacker will pull out a gun or knife while you keep punching him.

  • @funkybird10 self defense doctrine anymore is keep kicking until he stops moving.

  • good luck lol !!

  • This is a joke, right?!!!

  • @grozde right dude....

  • HAHAHAHAHA

  • once you kick him/her in groin or shin they are gonna probably let go - who wants to be thinking about all the other crap - KISS principles - keep striking to groin, shin and scream like shit.

  • wanna show you how to fight on bed???

  • isn't that cute lol..

  • she looked like she was about to fall over when she went to her "faster speed" lol. sadness...good thing she's in a practice environment. A for effort. or something like dat

  • Pretty text book meat & potatoes self defense but the final demo was pretty sloppy looking. I'd never suggest kicking someone in the groin with a flexed foot unless you want to break some toes; Bas Rutten teaches the first two moves of this combination. The only other thing I'd change is the final back target. Get more specific: go for the kidneys or my personal preference would always be the back of the neck. if you elbow someone in the scapula all you've done is pissed them off.

  • i love how she says grab here lol and dont know what its called.. FYI they are called "Meta Carpel"

  • I like it thanks for sharing this!

  • i hope u do know this that ur feet didnt even touch the guy when u said u are going at a faster rate motion ur techniques sucks

  • What I don't get is why in every video it is assumed that as soon as the bad guy is hit he's going to let go.

  • these techniques are kind of like windows.. they will only stop an honest person..

  • @cdrpyro OMG thats why there showing you how to rip the hand off you queef head lol

  • @cdrpyro yeah thats cus this shit doesn't work.....KRAV MAGA

  • cute.

  • :)

as she demostrated... it may not work too well if you're short & the opponent is tall with long arms :P

  • lol all of the videos start off with kicking him in the nuts...would that work as well if it was a girl?

  • that area is less sensitive to women but a good kick landed in that area still would take them out

  • hmmm this one is ... hmmm quite skeptical of it's effectiveness... please someone tell me i'm wrong.

  • yep. it will work. it's just her delivery. she is leaving out a lot of the important stuff. =)
