Why all the hate? This is a pretty bad ass boat. It's ability to to maintain high speed in heavy seas created the need for a new shock mitigating seating technology. Originally the poor bastards riding in the MarkV equipped with rigid seats got the crap kicked out of them unlike ever before. The program that developed the shock mitigating seats over a decade ago is just now setting standards for occupant protection in high speed ocean going vessels.

@centurion180ad Because the PT Boat was made for quick attacks on German/Japanese ships and submarines using Torpedo's and depth charges. And those two are the only thing I don't see on this ship. When in a river where you'll be shooting at the up on to banks and into trees most of the time some M-134s Mk-19 M2 and 240B's will be much more practical to use. I also do believe adding some mounts to shoot or drop torpedo's and DC's wouldn't be hard.

Every generation in my family fights in a war. I love the navy seals swift boat. I want one. People talk shit about how the military keeps us free and in a way they do here, and after when a vet and there family keep their oath to the constitution and in a way, we violate free country's rights and right to grow in out 135 + bases all over the world. skittlesareyum48- you might want to read up on the SWCC's. They are in no way SEAL wanna bes. Refrain from ignorant posts and do some research first. Sure they don't get the exposure that SEALs do, but they are the just as much operators as any SEAL, and any SEAL would agree with me. Different teams, different mission, same dedication.

If it wasnt for that special group of men known as the Special Warfare Combatant-Craft Crewmen, SEALS would have a very hard time getting in and out of situations. N SWCC is no joke they have ramped up training the swcc of today is diffrent from past the last swcc class had a 80% drop out. I'm going SEAL and buddy of mine is going swcc and the kid was a beast he loves boats though. Both trainings are tough. Stop playing call of duty
