While I acknowledge Dekkers > Duane, you neglect it all.
Dekkers was incredible, and had beaten some Lumpini champions. He was VERY exceptional for a non-Thai fighter. Duane Ludwig was not AS good as Dekkers, however he still beat great fighters, including Malaipet (WMC and Rajadamnern Stadium Champion). USA may not be a very dominant force in the Muay Thai and Kickboxing scenes, but you cannot deny that the country has produced some very talented strikers nonetheless. You stated America sucks at MT/kickboxing, which is not true because like I've stated before, they've produced talented standup fighters... just not as many as other countries because of the dominance of other sports.
P.S. - K-1 is fucked and has been known for favoring Japanese and Europeans, and bias towards Muay Thai.

I did not imply that, however I did state that they have world class fighters, and I think you forgot to notice who Duane Ludwig beat... Malaipet! Matter of fact, Duane KO'd another former Raja Stadium champion - Kozo Takeda. Ramon Dekkers couldn't even win a Thai stadium title (despite beating some champs), yet Duane KO'd two already. While I acknowledge Dekkers > Duane, you neglect it all.

Dekkers was incredible, and had beaten some Lumpini champions. He was VERY exceptional for a non-Thai fighter. Duane Ludwig was not AS good as Dekkers, however he still beat great fighters, including Malaipet (WMC and Rajadamnern Stadium Champion). You gotta cut Americans some slack and stop being so hard on them. You're from the Netherlands so obviously you have high standards, but you still cannot deny that USA produces some talent regardless of what others think.. just not #1

USA may not be a very dominant force in the Muay Thai and Kickboxing scenes, but you cannot deny that the country has produced some very talented strikers nonetheless. Fighters such as Duane Ludwig, Alex Gong and Shane Del Rosario have proven that America is capable of world class MT/Kickboxing, the only thing is a general lack of popularity in the sport doesn't allow this to happen often. Boxing and wrestling have much greater influence in America - go figure.
