@gameshark81 It would help if you play the first. They make references to the first in dead space 2. Although, if you just want go into dead space 2, they have a video telling what happened in the first. My recommendation would be, is to play the first because you get the original plasma cutter carried over to the second and because you would be missing out on a good game.

There Is Another Suit that has all the some item slots but 60% armour. I Think it is called tank armour. I would recomend using it . it works pretty good.
