Funny, innit? I was trying to compare the shit British comedy of the 21st Century with the Fab British comedy of the 80's and 90's, saying even an American comedy is funnier than 'we' are now. Yet no-one has tried to prove me wrong... yep, Father Ted is just better than The IT Crowd, The Inbetweeners, and all the other shit British comedy of the 21st Century. Face it, Britain has lost it's sense of humour... boo hoo.

I agree with a lot you are saying. However, I don't think you can generalise every British comedy show of the 21st century as shit, there are several that are great. Like Peep Show. I do agree that there are loads of crap ones, but there were loads of crap ones in the 80's and 90's too , they're just not remembered.

I adore Father Ted. Awesome show! Shame about Dermot Morgan though :(. :O I just noticed some bad continuity! At about 13:00 - 14:00 seconds (before the Father Jack shot) Dougal is stood by Ted and the chair he's about to sit in. Then after the Father Jack shot, he walks all the way from the other end of the room near the window before he sits down :D! hehe! x
