This was a GREAT American cross section! Ray has the mind of an 8 year old mentally damaged kid who marries an attractive woman so he can masturbate in her. He pretends watching sports makes him a "man" & loves explosions. Deb, wanting the American "dream", grabs the stupid guy for kids, a house & stuff. Robert is the sensitive cop (an oxymoron). Both sets of grandparents are dysfunctional and the children are mysteriously missing in most episodes!

Ive watched every episode of this now and Ive come to a conclusion, Debra is a bitch!!! Shes on Ray's case all the time, yelling at him every chance she gets, and all he wants is what every man wants, peace and quiet. Hes always caught in the middle when Debra and Marie fight forcing him to choose a side and when Ray falls ill, she begrudgingly takes care of him. Thats not a good wife now is it? Honestly shes lucky shes hot, because if that were me I would not put up with her shit.
