@ecchibanzaii most people know Acuras are Hondas. So putting that badge would not make many think it is American. They are amazing cars that is true, but to make a statement that the best cars are Japanese . . . that is just plain ignorant and shallow minded. There are so many different ways to classify a car and determine its capabilities, no single country makes the best cars

My car was made in Australia, and I believe Holden and US cars have some of the best styling, and GM has the best V8 engine. I could not agree more that France makes ugly crap haha. Japan is terrific when it comes to efficiency and reliability in 4 cylinder form, and Subaru's all wheel drive platform is top of the line. Each country or region has something they do very well
its because he did a conversion on it, its a Acura, if its LHD then its ACURA if it RHD then is HONDA. the only honda nsx's are right hand drive. Acuras are the US luxury version of hondas as everyone knows and since its a US bi company then its by restriction to be left hand drive. meaning he but honda rims and badges on it.
Where the hell did the owner get all this NSX-R stuff? Those Recaros cost 10 thousand each. I can also see ''R'' steering wheel, wheels and hood. Nice NSX man. You must be proud and rich.
It has a red Honda badge(use on type R only) because it's meant to be a Honda NSX-R replica. Hence the nsx-r spoiler, recaro seats, aluminum shifter knob, aluminum mesh shifter boot. Honda never ever sold a type R in America before and other UK & AUS type R are also different.
Honda is the maker.. Acura is just a "luxury edition" for America. They didnt want to ruin the Honda name. Their are Acura NSXs(USDM) and Honda NSXs. (JDM). You guys already know we are left hand and they are right hand drive. The NSXs or anything in that matter such as supras rx7s integras civics wrxs evos are all better there. People with the usdm nsx just decide to put the Honda emblem on the nsx its just all preference or to me I like it it show its true roots.
This looks to be NSXprime meber Vancehu's Type-R copy. Few bits of clarification:
1. some already touched on it, but (i suspect) the reason the owner put a honda badge on the acura car is to pay homage to the fact that the NSX is honda through and through. Until '05, when it was discontinued, it was produced with the S2000 at the Suzuka factory in Japan. Hand built there..... you don't have to necessarily be a "JDM head" to want to put the honda badge on there.

Is a exotic, in fact is the 2nd exotic released from Japan (the 1rst was the 60' Toyota 2000GT), and the 1rst japanese production car considered a Supercar.
This car was borrowed from it's owner to be used in the movie "Fast and Furious 4". The wheels on the car were switch to black wheels for Universal Studio's liking.
I think the ones in the US were bagded as Acura but other countries were badged as Honda. Some people just put a H on the car and others may have imported the car. I dont know for sure

The brand may be the "luxury version" but regarding the NSX it is no different to the Japanese version. can you tell me of 1 or 2 differences other than the driver side position and badges between the two? Who's to say i know nothing about cars? If it was a luxury brand, then why don't they have the regular Honda brand over there too?- Like they have here in Australia, both Toyota and Lexus, Nissan and Infinity. The only Hondas over there would be bikes or imports.

Acura is the American spin off (A standing for Acura). Same car different name and Acuras' driving position is Left Hand Drive as opposed to the Japanese/Australian Right Hand Driving, otherwise they'd all be just under the original Honda brand.

Furthermore, some NSX'S are imports and so they keep their original Honda tag, some are bought in NA and have their original Acura Tag and many drivers prefer having the original Honda tag and change their own Acura Tag by a Honda one. That's why you can see the superbe NSX with both signs.

Everyone has been telling me Honda is made by Acura. I know that Honda is the same, I didn't want to tell people I already knew and be rude. But I only heard of a Acura NSX, not really hear people say I'm going to buy a Honda. I mean their is no such thing as a Lincoln Mustang
@geedunk13 I think someone already mentioned that nsx are made by honda but in the USA, they are badged as Acura because there is no such thing as Acura in Japan, they are all hondas. NSX-R for example has the red emblem which looks sexy on it. Some people who own NSX in the US just put the emblem on it but I think some people actually has an import nsx, very few though.

It used to be an exotic supercar, but @ today extreme HP numbers and standards the NSX can't be consider no more as a supercar, yet, still an exotic in it's own rights.
The 3.2 cars w/good driver can do 4.5 to 60 and 12.9 @ the 1/4, top end 170 and @ the track still well respected car.
Low number of samples, exotic materials, full all aluminum body (even the seats) titanium used on the internals .. and the fact that was hand, made make this car a true special vehicle.
Reminds me of the Lotus Evora but good job finding this car. In Sydney, the only time I saw this car would be in a dealership selling a Koenigsegg, Pagani Zonda and a Lamborghini Miura

lol well.. any nsx with right hand drive is honda.. and any nsx with left hand drive is acura.. But overall honda owns em all.. But in Hawaii.. racers just buy the "H" emblem and stick em on their Honda.. Some infinity drivers put nissan on their car too... lol

@geedunk13 well technically acura is the luxury branch of honda,like lexus is the luxury branch of toyota. some of the nsx models have the H on it because honda manufacturing companies overseas made, and probably just forgot that they were making an acura :)

@723myself Lol, Acura is not a luxury brand fool. It's just different side driving, left hand side driving position. The brand name Acura has nothing to do with luxury.. first of all the car was produced BY Honda.. It is a luxury sports car. The only difference is the driving position.

The brand may be the "luxury version" but regarding the NSX it is no different to the Japanese version. can you tell me of 1 or 2 differences other than the driver side position and badges between the two? Who's to say i know nothing about cars? If it was a luxury brand, then why don't they have the regular Honda brand over there too?- Like they have here in Australia, both Toyota and Lexus, Nissan and Infinity. The only Hondas over there would be bikes or imports.

@houro19 It even says on the Acura's wikipedia " The Acura brand has been used in the US, [[to market Honda's luxury and performance vehicles]] and near-performance vehicles. The Acura brand was introduced to North America partly because Japan imposed Voluntary Export Restraints for the USA market, and it presented an opportunity for Japanese manufacturers to export more expensive cars. "Also the nsxs' photo caption it says "The Honda NSX, badged as an Acura in certain regions." Lol.

Honda is the original brand. H stands for Honda.
Acura is the American spin off (A standing for Acura). Same car different name and Acuras' driving position is Left Hand Drive as opposed to the Japanese/Australian Right Hand Driving, otherwise they'd all be just under the original Honda brand.

@geedunk13 Acura is the luxurious car brand made by Honda in North America only. Acura doesn't exist elsewhere. So basically all Acuras are Hondas, as it is the same company. Furthermore, some NSX'S are imports and so they keep their original Honda tag, some are bought in NA and have their original Acura Tag and many drivers prefer having the original Honda tag and change their own Acura Tag by a Honda one. That's why you can see the superbe NSX with both signs.

@geedunk13 Honda created Acura to sell their more expensive cars under a different umbrella. Most people think of Honda as good on gas and affordable, so when you slap a 90k sticker on the window, people get confused.
Nothing against Honda here, I own two of them :)

The reason they have the Honda sign is because in Japan Acura dosen't exist, so JDM heads in America usually convert the Acura emblems to Honda ones.

@kilika89 white NSX is the best color. the sportiest color. maybe with a metallic grey rims. the black top makes it look like a fighter jet. the red tail light and white color makes it clean and crisp.

Everyone has been telling me Honda is made by Acura. I know that Honda is the same, I didn't want to tell people I already knew and be rude. But I only heard of a Acura NSX, not really hear people say I'm going to buy a Honda. I mean their is no such thing as a Lincoln Mustang

@geedunk13 I think someone already mentioned that nsx are made by honda but in the USA, they are badged as Acura because there is no such thing as Acura in Japan, they are all hondas. NSX-R for example has the red emblem which looks sexy on it. Some people who own NSX in the US just put the emblem on it but I think some people actually has an import nsx, very few though.

This example is so clean and original! Sometimes you see cheap, aftermarket parts on NSXs but this one is fresh! Beautiful color and nice wheels! Thanks for sharing!

It used to be an exotic supercar, but @ today extreme HP numbers and standards the NSX can't be consider no more as a supercar, yet, still an exotic in it's own rights.
The 3.2 cars w/good driver can do 4.5 to 60 and 12.9 @ the 1/4, top end 170 and @ the track still well respected car.
Low number of samples, exotic materials, full all aluminum body (even the seats) titanium used on the internals .. and the fact that was hand, made make this car a true special vehicle.

Reminds me of the Lotus Evora but good job finding this car. In Sydney, the only time I saw this car would be in a dealership selling a Koenigsegg, Pagani Zonda and a Lamborghini Miura
