We were less than 10 m in a 4x4. It was quite windy but he was sniffing a lot so he could have caught us.

It's a youtube freebie. Not realistic I know but the sound recording at the time was all wind noise, and this is better than silence.

I just watched a video of 3 dogs fighting an American badger and got the best of it. Had it been a honey badger like this one, there would have been 3 badly mangled dogs.

these guys are so rare, and I was lucky enough to see one in the Amboseli National Park, in Kenya. It was definitely one of the highlights!
