Germany: Car Driving / Travel in Ansbach (Brückencenter)

I lived in Ansbach for well over 6 years of my childhood. I want to go back so bad. i moved three years ago and vow to go back. this video brought tears to my eyes reminding me of what i miss. most of my best memories are in the bruckencenter. i love it there.

I'm at Katterbach now. Haven't been to the Brucken Center in probably over a month though. Wowzers. Going to Wurzburg on Saturday though for a fest! I love fest beer. Get so drunk so fast. lol.

Talk about bringing back memories. I was stationed in Ansbach 1990-93 and it quickly became my second home. I've wanted to go back so bad it kills me. I guess the Green Goose and Tivoli Park are closed now?

Where did you live? I frequented those places quite a bit back then. If you were there very often there is a good chance we knew eachother. I hate to give you bad news, but Snoopy had to close down The Goose in '96 or '97. He brought my folks a poster and menus for me. As for Tivoli, its been several things since then, but never the same. Oh yeah...The Goose is now a dentist office. Can you believe it?

Was stationed here from 1965-1967 with 4/57 Artillery Bn. I was disappointed that so much of the footage is inside a parking garage, with long stops at traffic lights! Perhaps it would have been better to have shorter montages of recognizable places, venues, etc. We lived @#1 Oberer Weinberg, but google earth doesn't display the terraced hillside where we lived!
