suspension man....dont worry about engine until you can control an underpowered car.....ive got a ke70 1.3L 4k motor.....custom coilovers and race springs, and a locked diff......and it slides heeps good (even in dry).....but yeah man until you can control a car with little power i wouldnt bother with the engine until after the suspension.

WAOOO~ amazing! I find difficult to drift in wet with a 1.6L 4K and you can manage to drift with a 1.3L in dry *claps claps* but haha~ maybe i should really start with foot work. Because right now everything is stock on my car, Yes i would take your advice.

man you can drift any car wif any power aslong as you have the right set up and you know what yor doing.i was taught by mates,the easiest way to get a car out thats underpowered is handbrake entrance.keep learnin,and sure weld the diff and for a KE Get falcon springs for the rear and cut em but not too much and s13 springs for the front,weld a strutbrace in the boot and get 1 for the front,strip ya interior for the shit you dont need and go have some fun in the wet ;)

welded diff is good if ya go no money but warning dont do a line locker or you'll snap an axle before you can say grannys got a fanny.....when i get more money ill be puttin a lsd in it for sure.

and p.s i said it slides in the dry (not full on hektic keiichi tsuchiya(drift king) shit)

it tends to loose power unless your fukin pinnin it....dangerous in wet though.

I've owned both ends of the spectrum. I had a 78 Camaro with a 350ci, and it was a fantastic car, one of the favorites of the ones i've had. Then I had a 86 300zx turbo, awesome car. Lots of power and handling to match. I now have a 20v AW11, and the car is freaking amazing in almost every way, though i would like some more straight line power(blame the camaro). All cars have their good and bad points, the import muscle war is fucking retarded.

Not with stock suspension. In the wet it isn't as noticeable but to drift in the dry you do need stiff suspension.
