I was at the very front of the trivium show Last sunday :D The whole band were less than a meter away from me! I got a drum stick which they threw out and also a plectrum which Corey himself handed to me. Most amazing moment of my life :D

The whole "I wont wear my band shirt" crowd are all working hard behind the scenes to find something that sells - they are failing and they are all scrambling to do something right that people will buy if people don't they are outta of the game.

If anyone tells you shirts and all self promotion is a waste they are full of poo poo.

there isn't anything wrong with wearing your band shirt i agree however there are bands i have seen that were the exact same shirts during a gig and look like the osmonds just don't do that is my suggestion and if this is really the band iw ould like to ask a question there is a song that i wrote for my band that i truly think a fanbase would love however the other guitarist can't keep up with his part of the solo should we scrap it or should i play the whole thing and push him out of the light

how bout a a third guitarist? 2 ppl play solos with harmonies, another backs the rythm. ive always wanted to do dat, but no ones into trivium like i am where im from...or maybe u could keep the harmonies for the track and play only one of the parts live?

that could work the lead vocalist can play a little but what i mean by his part of the solo is his half not the harmony he plays the second part and i play the first part the first part is about 5 notes per second faster than the second so he couldn't play either i actually got two solutions one was to rewrite the solos or take both and let him push me out of light on another song which i am leaning towards the latter but thanks for taking the time to give me some good advice

and don't get me wrong he is a good guitarist it is just we are in colorado and he is a country and blues fan so he played that stuff at first and never really focused on playing metal however he is a fantastic rhythm player in most genres of music so its not that he is incapable it is just that he hasn't focused on it much
