[2006-2010] I quit WoW due to Cataclysm almost a year ago, but found myself reconsidering and accepting change. Yesterday I bought the expansion, just waiting for my gaming laptop to arrive in the mail. But this long break has given myself a chance to explore other MMORPG & even FPS. There are a bunch of other cool games out there and ones we have yet to see. Lately I've been playing DDO, which is very challenging and cool. I just know, WoW won't gather my full attention this time.

Progress is part of this world and you are jsut a small spec apon many others and i betcha you just wanna fit in to get thumbs up from other people who prolly weren't even in BC but try to fool themselves and others into thinkin that you were. Years later, the alliance between the races broke, and 2 factions were born: The Alliance (Humans, Gnomes, Dwarves, Night Elves, Draenei and now Worgen) and The Horde (Orcs, Trolls, Tauren, Undead, Blood Elves and now Goblins)
In World of Warcaft these two factions are at war, while also fighting various bad guys that show up (like Deathwing)

so, it looks like cata is gonna come out early-mid november. only basis i have for this is that 4.0.1 is on the PTRs at almost the exact same date that 3.0 came onto PTRs in 2008, and the speed of beta updates and fixes is going fast,every zone is available for testing, almost every map is out, and alot of the placeholders for cinematics and NPC models are being switched out for the pretty much completed product. looks like it'll come out about the same time wrath did in 2008

@autdelux Jesus, quit whining will you? This is most likely the biggest expansion yet, and have probably required more work from Blizzard than The Burning Crusade and Wrath of the Lich King combined. They have rewritten most of the game engine, and that is no small feat, and will ultimately lead to a much better gaming experience. The fact that they have re-done entire Azeroth so it now uses the new technology Blizzard has created (like phasing) is just an extra plus for us.

@goth9ever First of all this is just the INTRO trailer to what Cataclysm features dude... haha. You need to understand for every game they release they DO make a cinematic trailer. The kind where it looks all real and amazing :) Blizzard is still working on the awesome looking trailer for the game. Don't worry :) They will release the video around August but the game in November.

I don't know if you have notice but blizzard have updated the models of the goblins for Cataclysm making them look better/cooler/meaner looking ;) I have definitely noticed a difference from the Cataclysm screenshot page of the goblin models for Cataclysm compared to the goblins in game now. And dude remember that one of the goblins special abilities will have something to do with getting bargain deals on certain things or whatever they purchase :)

@boris010666 The goblins that have joined the horde are of the bilgewater cartel. The ones that are in booty bay, ratchet, everlook and gadgetzan are of the steamwheedle cartel and have not joined the horde so they will remain neutral.

@parliq lol no my friend it isnt a tree FORM anymore now tree form is a spell that only lasts for a certain amount of time.
So its not like bear form or flight form, its now going to me like a hunters rapid fire ability, lasts for a short time, but kicks ass.

@ProvokeLaughter Yes but keep in mind that the other "trailers" are the cinematics of the games themselves. So you can basically guarantee that there will be another super high quality video when the game is closer to coming out.

@ProvokeLaughter Durrr just so you know, this isn't a cinematic trailer. It's a trailer using in game graphics. They do lots of these so they just assumed that you would understand the fancy one would be coming later... They assumed wrong?

we add Worgen and Goblins than we dont need to make new Models. We change the Old World then we dont need a New World to Crerate. We delete most Stats then every Retard can Equip a Char right. We give same Loot then every Retard 10men Grp can have the best Epics. We ...... quit ^^

@autdelux Jesus, quit whining will you? This is most likely the biggest expansion yet, and have probably required more work from Blizzard than The Burning Crusade and Wrath of the Lich King combined. They have rewritten most of the game engine, and that is no small feat, and will ultimately lead to a much better gaming experience. The fact that they have re-done entire Azeroth so it now uses the new technology Blizzard has created (like phasing) is just an extra plus for us.

this game disgusts me, this is the same shit over and over, blizzard just enters their map editor, takes a day or two to replace some trees and grass with burning shit, waits 7 months, and calls it a new game, bing! instant money. This is probably going to be horrible even with the changes. The original wow was better than bc and bc was loads better than wotlk. WoW's time is over

its a great vid blizz did, but i wish they had done it in their useal way, all 3d and loking real life awesome. also, why does hord get stuck with fucking goblins. just because ally are stuck with a msall annoying race dosnt mean horde have to suffer, all their races are awesom ( forsaken best).

@goth9ever First of all this is just the INTRO trailer to what Cataclysm features dude... haha. You need to understand for every game they release they DO make a cinematic trailer. The kind where it looks all real and amazing :) Blizzard is still working on the awesome looking trailer for the game. Don't worry :) They will release the video around August but the game in November.
2nd off all you need to remember in Burning Crusade the horde got the cool race, the blood elves ;)

@goth9ever Meh. The Goblins won't be terrible. I don't know if you have notice but blizzard have updated the models of the goblins for Cataclysm making them look better/cooler/meaner looking ;) I have definitely noticed a difference from the Cataclysm screenshot page of the goblin models for Cataclysm compared to the goblins in game now. And dude remember that one of the goblins special abilities will have something to do with getting bargain deals on certain things or whatever they purchase :)

@boris010666 The goblins that have joined the horde are of the bilgewater cartel. The ones that are in booty bay, ratchet, everlook and gadgetzan are of the steamwheedle cartel and have not joined the horde so they will remain neutral.
