  • Very cool

  • Awesome! What plastic have you used to cover?

  • @germaineludik Thank you, I used UV stabilized greenhouse PVC. And then over the seams a PVC tape that heat bonds to the PVC, no leaks so far.

  • Very nice. I'm very interested in the bracing technique on the doors and entrances. Do you have any references for constructing them?

  • @kevinclevenger I don't have plans for that, we did it on site, did the measurement and construct it. It was a last minute mod, since we realized we need wind catchers. As you can see it's just a tunnel fitted into the opening of the dome. But it had to be heavily braced along the doors the to hold the dome up.

  • Must respect for the quality of the craftsmanshipThis is the new future of indoor -outdoor living spaces.

  • @MaterialiseYDreams Thank you, if all goes according to plan, there will be more soon!

  • It looks awesome! Keep of the great work.

Do you have any recommendations for the best resources on how to frame a dome? I'd love to build a dome greenhouse some day.

  • @jarviskj Thank you.

Most info is found on geodome |dot| co |dot| uk and some calculations available at acidome |dot| ru/lab/calc.

I did a lot of calculations alone, but the sites above helped a great deal. I suggest making smaller models first.
