might want to check out something to kill overtones, it was more noticeable at the beginning but not too bad during the rest. Try those cheap gel window clings that they sell for holidays, way cheaper than buying the actual gel things at a music store. my drummer uses them and he loves them, plus they're cheap and easy to find

From a drummer's perspective:

On the chorus, play some bow rather than all bell. Portnoy accented with the bell, and in playing the bell throughout the whole of it, you kind of counteract that. Also, careful not to hit the cymbals too hard. That's a nice AAX. Wouldn't want to crack it (even though I think you'd be safe on your warranty; It looks pretty new).

But otherwise, good cover, bud.

Also, try to cover some Mnemic. Their drummer's fantastic. Check out the album "Sons of the System."
