  • the feather plucking is a sign of loneliness

  • u dont want to keep her if she isnt claimed?

  • You did everything right for this parrot! I found the listing on Parrot 911. Thank you for taking the time to see that it was cared for . You must have birds or just have a good heart! Every bird lover thanks you!

  • Animal control picked up other Macaws near here. We determined this bird was an escapees from a breeder that has hundreds of Macaws/Parrots housed in 4 school buses 2 miles from me. Lady Di was here for 2 months eating walnuts & persimmons. I loved seeing her flying around until after Christmas when a Red Tail Hawk started chasing her. Either winter or Hawk would get her so I got her to walk into a rabbit cage for food & closed the door.

  • please list this bird on Parrot 911. Its the largest database for lost parrots. This has to be someones pet ! Losing a bird is like losing a family member and the pain of not knowing where they are is overwhelming. Someone is looking for her and would be forever grateful to know how she is.

  • the Macaw does not look happy, I hope you have not tied her down into that cage. Please do as you say, send it the rehab.

  • @Doctorofspin : You have it backwards. A cage is a safe place for a bird that is in a foreign land. A good home is better than a rescue.

  • you did a good job though

  • She's beautiful!!

  • Thank you for your compassion and care. You are doing the right thing. Mickaboo is a wonderful organization that pulls off miracles for birds on a regular basis. Lady Diana will be in good hands, thanks to you!
