Stevie Wonder was not experimental with his music, he was/is creative. This is a "masterpiece" and it was written and recorded in what I think was his most creative period, 1972-76. You can call him outstanding, fantastic, exceptional, brilliant, or a creative genuis. Experimenting is a someone trying to discover something.
