you might want to tune your toms... they look like they're near death haha and you need to add more fills, I felt kinda bored watching this because there wasn't any accents to the foundation
nice playing, your doing good for two years of play :-). I would agree with the other guy learn rudiments, especially singles doubles paradiddles and flams those are the foundation for all the others. Rudiments have really helped me transform my kit playing and open up a whole new world for me. I would also suggest finding a drum instructor it will help a great deal (ive had two years of professional instruction) and other instruction as well. def. play with the metronome alot
Actually I made this video after coming straight from the beach and with not playing for over a week. And while I was gone I began (for the first time ) practicing rudiments with a metronome. Have any help with proper way to go about playing rudiments?
great beat man, you kinda lose the sound with the cymbals but with the hi-hat its a great beat for hip hop or funk. did you write it yourself?

yes rudiments are absolutely essential in all that is drumming. Learn those and you can REALLY come up with some sick beats. nice playing 5stars
