Im drummer and i like to play hardcore music. So alot of fast drum fills. Am I supposed to bounce when I play fast or do I rush? When I play fast I just hit one in each hand and alternate between the two hands. Am i doing this wrong and if I am how to bounce the sticks so it doesnt sound like im in a marching band?
@1SlashRocks1 It's a Sleishman Omega kit - brand new mid range kit (pricewise), still sounds like a pro line kit though, check em at sleishman website
@Blitz7711 Hi Mike, without seeing you play it would be hard to diagnose. But in general, you need to convert to a larger percentage fingers when playing faster. If you've never used your back 3 fingers to move the stick before (you only use wrist), you may want to do some finger isolation exercises to force them to move the stick.
