Early '71 Demon deck lids were flush....late 71 & all 72s had the crease in the middle. This could be correct for this car.
This doesn't appear to be a real H-code/340 car...as all 340 cars got the rally dash. This is a really nice car either way!

Nice catch on the 72 trunk lid, I thought no-one else would have recognized that. But it does look alot better than a wing on the back in my opinion.
