I am tickled pink the Japanese seem to like bluegrass. Any reason why that is? What about bluegrass music would appeal to them? other than it sounding good and fun to play in a group... thanks for the upload.

why are these guys dressed like complete goofballs? sorry to break it to you but I don't see how that has anything to do with bluegrass, haha fake southern accents!
I wouldn't call the accent fake, really. They probably learned the song phonetically by listening to the record over and over, and are just imitating the sound they heard.
You Sir are a moron.ever been to Texas,NC,Virgina I thought not. I bet your banjo playing stinks. you just just have banjo envy. Great job guy's. Boston Ma.
If you don't recognize their dress, you sir, should go to Arkansas, Missouri, Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Arizonia, and probably a dozen other states to a bluegrass festival and see what old-timers in bluegrass are STILL dressing like. Not everyone followed the Grascals or Dan Tyminski. Let tradition live on, brother. I think it's grand that these folks are trying to carry on an old bluegrass tradition...besides, try to find anyone else on youtube singing this OLD song!
god bless japan and the south
