I love Charlie Murphy unconditionally which means I have to speak the truth. Charlie Murphy is not a comedian. He has been pushed to the forefront because of the stories he has told on the "Chappelle Show." Just because a person can tell a few funny stories does not automatically make them a stand-up comedian. This is not who he is. He is an OK actor depending on his part but a stand-up comedian he is not. I create and tell comedy until tears fall, and then I stop. Not everyone can do this.

Everybody wants to jump on the students because they booed the man off stage. Point is, he was not giving them what (key phrase for the slow people) THEY WANTED. If you other Charlie Murphy dick riders want to soothe his ego, use your money and pay him what he lost by giving the check back. How are you really gonna sit there and tell these people they were wrong, how did you want them to let the man know he was not doing his job to their standards, by asking him to do new jokes?

I will defend the students at my alma mater! Stand-up comedy is an art form where the entertainment value is gauged according to the feedback from the audience. Now, if Charlie Murphy had been performing the lead in “Othello” and received that type of response then I might be outraged. The bottom line is that this man knows the rules of the game and the moment he began to lose he walked off the playing field! That’s my .000006 cents on the matter!
