  • Jeez, I wished people still partied like this in Menomonie!

  • Wow!! Cherry bombs have changed! - I think I like the old-fashioned kind!

I will miss this place come May! Thanks for the video, it allows us to see how things have changed!

  • things have changed a bit since ur time but i hope to leave with as much memories as yall did. great vid!

  • Nice! This was way before my time but it was crazy to see the log jam...and love the great 80's style!

  • I walked into The Buck last night for a minute while driving through. I had to stop and snapped a picture - the bartender and a customer had seen THIS VIDEO!!!

I think we should get as many people as we can from this video to make a return trip!!!!

  • That was me in and my 1971 Grandville convertible at the end, this really brings back memories. Can't hardly party like that anymore without getting arrested.

  • Steve this was a major kick to the memories in so many ways. CKTO with you, Dusty, who was it that was the Alice Cooper fan, Chris Gaylord, Shawn Cordy, Bob and Jim...wow. Then the videos showing people I haven't seen since graduating in '89. Went back to do a Master's and still have the glass from the Jam I got the day OJ drove down I-5. As Gfun40 puts it, Beat the Clock, 10 cent taps, House Parties $2. My first employer couldn't believe how little I spent on booze. Dude this rocks!!!

  • Best video ever!! I grew up in Menomonie, was living there when this was filmed, too bad I was only 8 years old at the time! This video still cracks me up, not much has changed, The Buck aka Silver Dollar Saloon still looks EXACTLY the same, right down to the corny chandelier lights by the front window. To Steve Todey: if you have any more videos like this , POST EM UP!!!!

  • Oh god I remember this. Katie wasn't even of age to be in the Buck. And good ol Dennis I see was in the video along with Tom and Mike from the FOB's. Too bad nobody got triple cripple on video at the Log Jam and remember the Marion? That bar was the best!!

  • Pretty much the same as it is today. all thats changed in 20 years is the drinking age and jean jackets went out of style.

  • HOLY SHIT. That is EXACTLY what Stout was all about!!! I was there from 1994 to 1999.

  • I loved it. I was there from 1995 to 1999 and watching this brought back many memories!! Especially since I lived across the street fron the Rugby house in '96-'97. Thank you for posting this video!! Awesome!!

  • Frank Terrance is the man

  • Oh what style we all had...

  • Looks like nothing has changed from 89' to now.

  • yah,..... crazy drunks and a sea of white faces.... nothing has changed. I go there now and feel like the only hispanic on campus! no offense to caucasians. ;)

  • the year is mistaken. that was actually spring of 2006

  • Ha ha.. So you're saying things haven't changed much?

  • **BEST

  • i love it. stout represent! doing what stout kids do west!!!

  • 1ST FLOOR HANSON FOREVER!

  • shit.

20 years later and nothing has changed but the clothes and the fucking hairstyles.

i've got a question...why do kids in the 80's look so much older then kids in the 2000's.

sweet leinie's mirror at the end!!!

  • Stout is the sweet, Current student there and I think that the Log Jam is back

  • Little town with nothing else to do there but drink........however when I attended there it was a blast! :)

  • graduated in 03 loved it. Too bad the log jam is no longer there.

  • one of my friends found this video and shared it with the rest of us. yes, we found ourselves in some of the bar scenes and at rugby fest and recognized a lot of others! It brought back a lot of memories....some good, some bad...some I can't remember! haha

  • the whole campus looks like it's been stuck in time

  • I lived in that Pesky Mosquito house the next school year (6/89 - 5/90). They covered up those "beautiful wood floors" with carpeting.

    - Shaun Miley, UW-Stout '92
