Thanks for posting this tutorial, it was very informative! I had been pondering on how to paint my own daemonettes and this gave me some good ideas. I guess you could probably say that the change in the sculpts reflects Slannesh's ever changing moods. Feeling dark, monstrous first version, feeling sexy, the hyperboobified version, no particular mood, these ones. It would be interesting to have some of each in the army. --Dancougar82

I really love your army fluff idea, I think that's perfectly in keeping with Slaanesh, and I think if I ever add to this army, I would definitely paint up a darker, more monstrous version! Thanks for the suggestion!

I prefare these sculpts to the original metals, they were short and ugly, these are catwalk model tall and far prettier, just how they should be.. alluring yet disturbing. Refined due to the whims of Slaanesh and Slaanesh likes eyecandy.

Glad you toned down your skittles and avoided day-glo - coulda been a fasion disaster. Some nice combos, the green and yellow are quite snappy. I like the alternating black / colour path, good call; and I like the warm flesh. Especially like the conversions.

Yay mono-boobed dominatrices FTW! =) Love the paint job, but I'm not to fond of the yellow and greens... Just my colour preference I guess =)

@bazZy33K thanks haha, I think I went with those muted greens and fellows because they wouldn't stick out as much as a brighter golden yellow or goblin green. I might go back and redo them later, but for now, I think they make a pretty cohesive unit =D

eh, the old sculps people like is because of the boobs. Gamers tend to be more pervy than anything....

@johnkerry7 I think these are definitely a lot more detailed and streamlined than the older ones. I know I really don't like the first ones that came out (the bald ones), but the most recently OOP ones don't look so bad. Even if they covered up the boobs, I'd probably have bought some just because they look like women haha!
