hey people it's easier to laugh than to bitch and find fault with everyone. jcp is actually making fun of themselves for how they use to do business, i think thats pretty cool but now they have to really give you an honest price instead of an inflated one marked down two or three times.i always laugh at people getting pushed over the edge.

Old JCP: Everything based off of inflated MSRP tags so they can claim to be 50% off all the time.

New JCP:Actual prices people pay haven't changed that much but there'll be less sales and coupons overall.

Result: Consumers have to pay higher prices on average and have to put up with obnoxious JCP commercials.

I think I actually understand the commercial! (after watching it about 100 times) If you watch it, you'll see that the sales already happened or it's just too complicated for them and stuff, so everyone's upset that they missed the sales. so jcpenny is saying in advance when they're sale is so everyone knows and won't miss it. I. FEEL. SO. SMART. am I right though, or am I compIeteIy off with the commerciaI's meaning?

I'll explain it since i work there..... They are getting rid of coupons, and those stupid 50-70% off sales they always have... They are stopping those stupid "Was $100, is $50" price tag things... You know how everystore says something was and is... Yet its WAS price was never true to begin with.. Instead everything will be one low price for THAT month, which makes our Jobs way easier, and not so confusing

This has to be the stupidest commercial on TV to date. There has to be a less ridiculous way to draw attention to a retailer that has been around a long time. I am amazed that the hiarchy of that company would allow this foolish looking and sounding thing to go on the air at all. They have always had a reputation for good value and a certain amount of class. Try to get that back, please.PLEASE!
