A 100% STUPID show!!!!!!!!!! Can't hold a candle to "I Dream of Jeannie", and Elizabeth Montgomery can't hold a candle to Barbara Eden, either!!!!!!!!!!!
BOTH of the show's intro music makes me wish i was in new orleans and lake pontchartrain on a moonlit night. i remember watching this show back in the 70's when i lived in slidell, louisiana and it came on every afternoon on wvue channel 8 which was the abc affiliate in new orleans back then. brings back GREAT memories!
I don't think I'll ever forget seeing this as a child. The first time it was late at night, me and my mom would stay up late watching T.V. I was at least 4 or 5.I remember watching this intro and the show. So it was around 1994 or 1995. Me and my mom always loved staying up late together watching TV. We'd also watch the original "Unsolved Mysteries" late at night.
@PS3xMedia - I agree - Carrey could easily play Darrin Stephens. Hopefully, someone will decide to remake the Bewitched movie with actual homage to the original and cast Carrey in that role.
all but tabitha are alive...well her and her twin sister are.....poor dick york fell and fecked up his bak and cudnt continue..but hey they were all great
@daedralord1 Not sure what you meant, but a correction for you: except for Dr. Bombay (Edward Fox), Tabitha (Erin Murphy) and the boy (or boys) who played Adam, the entire cast of "Bewitched" is deceased. Dr. Bombay appeared in "Titanic", and Erin Murphy was on a celeb-reality show called "Hulk Hogan's Celebrity Wrestling" where she and some other celebs (Dustin Diamond, Danny Bonaduce, Dennis Rodman and others) learned how to wrestle.
@elc1960 Bernard Fox was Dr. Bombay- Adam was David Lawrence, Tabitha was originally by Erin and Diane Murphy, later Erin alone for she looked more like Liz's daughter.
@Jantv81 BERNARD Fox! Thanks; I didn't realize that I'd called him Edward. There is an actor named Edward Fox; didn't know I had gotten them confused. Thanks also for the name of the boy who played Adam. As for Erin & Diane Murphy, it's not surprising that they used sisters to play her role. It's long been a common practice in TV and movies to do that. Then again, you probably knew that. Cheers!
unique aspect of this was that Elizabeth Montgomery was very politically active...in contrast to a conservative background - although made to look subservient and counter programming to the Ozzie and Harriet shows of the 50s, she was an outspoken critic of the Vietnam war and an activist for Gay Rights.
