How else did they, living in extremely poor countries, get the money to come here? At the same time, our government makes little or no effect to check backgrounds or even verify proper identities. If I ever HAD to shoot a robber or someone to defend my life, I would feel terrible. I mean, it's the reason I chose to carry, but in my heart I know I would lose a lot of sleep over having to do that. It's hard for me to look at people, even the bad ones, as anything but past children. I know that's weird, but idk. So a criminal knows already that we would have to load the gun first. On top of that police harrass anyone who open carries an unloaded gun.
