I saw this in London and it's much smaller than a lot of people might expect so it's nowhere near a replacement for anything in the current range. It will be to X1 what RRS is to X5 (ie smaller but more expensive). The fact it's now a Range Rover rather than a Land Rover tells me it will be priced above the Freelander, maybe approaching LR4. Not much car for the money if so but hopefully the design language will rub off on the next big Rangie and RRS.

Land Rover unvailed this the other day at a 40th anniversary of Range Rover along side Vogue magazines party. The vehicle is also being sponsored by Victoria Beckham, and the new name for this new Range Rover is the Range Rover Evoque. Strictly two wheel drive, entry vehicle to the marque. Nice.

well to be honest i quite like it myslef but its not your typical SUV obviously. its more of a flashy car full of gadgets. and if i paid big money for a snazzy looking car like that id dread taking it off road, i wouldnt want the slightest bit of dirt on it aha

I love land rovers, i own them and i was bought up with them but the LRX looks a lot like a 4x4 mini cooper to me. Any thoughts?

yeah, crossovers look like hatchbacks and viceversa ét voilá you got a cooper ressemblence cause this is the first crossover concept from land rover since land rover is all about big and sexies suv's i gotta admit i love this concept especially 4 door! hope i helped in some way haha =P (p.s. im a MINI fan)

Yeah, I agree. Quite honestly, I love this but I want off-road capability, and while this still remains a concept, it doesn't look very off-road capable.
