I remember watching this in the rec room at my college dorm in Boston. I thought that being a Boston college campus people would have been a lot more into it and politically aware, but I sat there alone for hours along with one of the professors watching and debating and talking about the election. He was a Nader supporter and I was a Browne (Libertarian) supporter and the pair of us going on and on all night is something I'll never forget, it's one of my favorite memories about my education.
I just look back on the Bush years and wonder what was it all about. We went from chaotic moment to the next. But this great country by the grace of God withstood it.He really wasnt up to the job either intellectually or emotionally.
You can hear the left wing motivation of CNN. Bush leads, but Nader is always a factor. No one knows what the Nader voters would have done if he didnt run for presidency. Most of them would propably stay at home, they could have elect another small candidate or they could have elect Mr. Bush. There is a reason why the Nader voters didnt vote for Gore. In the end it was a close election, both guys scored 48 percent of the vote. But Gore failed to win his home state.
This was 10 years ago today and I have not heard a single mention on the news about the anniversary and that is unfortunate. When there is a tragedy of some sort the anniversary is mentioned and yet this was a fun and exciting event reghardless of whether you were for or against Bush and yet the media is not revisiting that exciting night. It was like a real close football game and no one is remembering it and yet I am sure in Austria they are talking about a train wreck 10 years ago.
Actually you would see more than two John Kings' After the screen at the Gore campaign theyd see another Gore Campaign screen and another until sum 1 shuts it off
Florida would not have mattered if Al Gore had won his HOME STATE of Tennessee. He also didn't let Bill Clinton campaign much for him. What a horribly run campaign.
@chippewaman1975 Yeah, Gore did run a pretty shitty campaign....up until the last two weeks and Bush got to overconfident. That DUI revealed over the weekend before Election Day hurt Bush as well.
George Wallace may have cost Humphrey the election in 1968,but no one one can be sure.

How can you be expected to win the country and lose your home state?
Imagine Gore trying to deal with 9/11. Green plants for every terrorist who wanted to kill Americans?
