@kiikat I know I'm by no means a hair expert but this look is pretty fast and really easy. It will turn out differently depending on your hair type but I haven't seen anyone have a hard time achieving the same results
@Bonbonenata The way it looks at the end will last about 8 hours. The volume however will stay in your hair for the next day... I've never gone longer than that so I don't know if it will stay even longer. (I have to wash my hair almost every day... I know it's bad for it). I don't use hair spray or mousse although it would probably last even longer if I did
@52annita Thanks for watching and I'm definitely not a professional. I do however try to style my hair different ways. My mom actually bought me the velcro rollers a long time ago and I had no clue how to use them, so I just messed around with them.
This is such a great idea, I am definitely trying it! My hair has the same texture as yours so I have to use a flat iron to smooth the cuticle of my hair shaft, but it always leaves it too flat. This video = problem solved!
You look great! :-) I use the very small rollers and I don't wear hair spray till the end and I notice my hair is healthier this way. I'm trying to let my hair grow out and this def has help. Thanks :-)
@CherrysLittleSecret Thanks !!! I'm glad that I could help. It's pretty easy to do ... I usually suck at doing hair but this always turns out nice on me
@bulgariaizabel Maybe to you it was a waste of time... I didn't want it to curl it. I wanted the body... that is what velcro rollers are for. They are not used to actually curl your hair. It's to give it volume... not curl it haha
@CoastalScents101 I meant your hair turned out SO beautiful. I can't wait to try it on my own hair. What's the exact name of the argon oil you use from Sally's? As soon as I watched this vid, I ran out to Target to buy the rollers & posted your vid to Facebook, Twitter, & Pinterest. You're a rockstar!
Have you ever when taking them out tried unrolling them in stead of pulling them cause on the packages at sally's they say never pull out always unroll ;) just sayenn ;) lol
@HannahMichelleMakeup Yes but I like to pull them out because I'm doing it to control my frizz. I don't want my hair curly, I just want it to have body. Plus as you can probably tell in the video ... I have horrible hair ( it's frizzy all the time ) :(
Hey thank you so much for your super easy to follow tutorial!! :) all the way from Ireland, tried for the first time tonight before i went out with some old friends and it worked perfectly! :) x
@MissOrlaMorris Aww Omg thank you!! I love it when people outside the U.S watch my videos. I'd love to visit Ireland one of these days. I'm glad it worked out for you. Thanks for watching <3
Great video! You are beautiful! :) I love how you seemingly pick up random pieces of hair and then voila! Your hair turns out AH-MAZING! Keep posting!
@coastalscents101 do you think the outcome would be less satisfying if I didn't straighten it before using the roller? I'm trying to use less heat on my hair >___<
@HootyInWonderLand I did that before and you just have to leave them in longer. I always leave them in for a long time anyways because I take forever to get ready. I'd say to test it out and let me know how it goes.
@Randomqtman No my hair is just extremely frizzy... It's been like that for years and if you watched until the end the curlers actually smooth the frizz. But Now that my hair is short it doesn't work as well so I just use hot curlers
I wasn't sure how your hair was going to turn out at the end because your method seemed a little unconventional, but it looked amazing at the end! very cute, I can't wait to do this tonight :D
Thanks so much for your tutorial! I'm going to buy rollers, but don't know what size to buy. Just a quick question, when do you use the small, medium, or large rollers? I know they give different size curls, do I use large rollers only to get that big curl look or should I add in smaller rollers in the front? Or are there no "right" way of doing it, and should just experiment? Thanks in advance!
@bubblin187 Thanks for watching! I honestly played around with them until I found something I liked. I use the bigger rollers in the back that way I can puff my hair if I want and it adds extra volume and the smaller and medium rollers in the front. It doesn't really give a tight curl so my hair ends up looking fuller. But I still play around with it just to see the different outcomes . <3 CeCe Marie
@pinkiibeauiful I just told my hair stylist that I wanted "long layers" my hair is short now but it grows fast so by summer I should be back to long hair again
@playboyjenna Yeah my hair is naturally curly before I blow dry ... It's not the pretty curly though, it's the frizzy curly haha. I wish I had either straight hair or pretty curly instead of frizzy haha
OH MY GOSH! Your natural hair is just like mine. I thought I was alone or I had done something wrong to make my hair all nasty and frizzy and huge. Nope! Hahah. I totally get it.
@VanishMeantime it takes work to get my hair looking decent. My hair was actually much worse back in high school. No matter how many treatments I do or how well I take care of my hair... it still looks damaged it sucks but hey things could be worse... right hahaha
@awsomeolives Yes I run the straightener through it first. I tried it without heat and it took forever to try and didn't look as good. Thanks for watching! <3 CeCe Marie
I LOVE the waves and volume you get, I hope this works on my long hair. Also I'm not sure if I missed it but did you apply heat to the rollers prior to putting them into your hair?
Hey, i got some hair rollers, and i tryed to put them in, it went in fine, but then when i tryed to get them out, my hair tottaly got stuck! my hair was dry and fine, was it because i didnt put heat on it? xx
@bloomingthunder it shouldn't be. I'm not sure why it would do that. Maybe next time you could brush or comb through your hair before to make sure it doesn't get snarls caught in the velcro. But if that doesn't help you could try putting the roller at the base and then sliding it up to the end of the hair and then rolling it under. I've never gotten one stuck in my hair. It would scare me if I had haha. So it's up to you if you want to try it again. It might get stuck again
@playgurl02xx Oh man then I'd avoid them. A long time ago I bought some rollers that got stuck in my hair. I literally had to rip pieces out. It was not fun.
@TheHellokitty112233 Yes it is... which is why I either straighten it, or put it in rollers. You have to wait until the end to see the final result and my hair is always smooth and soft after I'm done
@hellomichellie Yes it actually does and it helps for the curls too... at least for me all hair is different but I think it generally works for everyone
I always use my velcro rollers when my hair i wet and let it dry. Then you doesn't damage the hair with heath and the hair gets curlier and lasts much longer!!!

@skamozfan Thank you !! Yes the longer the hair the better. I just cut my hair and it still looks good but it looks better on longer hair for some reason .
@fff555ful Thanks but Oh man I guess the camera can be deceiving. My hair is frizzy and really bad at the ends. ha at 2:35 she looks funny! but great tutorial really helped thaanks :) & instead of straightening it you could just spray a little bit of hairspray before rolling the rollers. they both have the same results :)
That looks soo much easier than the hot rollers or the ones with clips. Im on the fence about rollers, they look awkward and uncomfortable. One question though, is the straightener for the heat aspect (like to make it easier to curl?) or is it just for general neatness?
