It would be nice if you would also explain what to do now, when some people listen to you advice about "how this keyboard works on device like HD".
ME for example, i downloaded it from the site that you posted a link on pocketnow and it screwed my original keyboard, so I had to uninstal this new touch input, but now I'm left without the original keyboards of touch HD. Since I'm not so keen to hard reset the divice, could you please tell me how to get my original keyboard options back?
If the phone has a FULL PULL OUT KEYBOARD.....why would you need the screen keyboard? I have no problem using the REAL keyboard.....on-screen type keyboards are annoying.
i agree with you. i have the mogul (i hate the v-Keyboard) but i only use it wen im not able to use the P-keyboard...and that seems to happen alot. i love the iPod touch keyboard and always wished HTC would incorporate that keyboard into their software...glad they listened
so you can type quick things in portrait, such as quick texts and web search's and ect...besides the diamond has to have this since it does not have a physical keyboard.
yeah but you figure that he would've made the correction in the video by now if he made a mistake int he title. It's dark in the video so I can't tell if it's the Diamond or the touch Pro 2.
I don't know about you guys but there are times for me where I just want to use a normal iphone like keyboard and sometimes just a normal standard phone layout to text. Especially in school it helps when try to be sneaky and text without the teacher seeing=3
lol no it's not you idiot. where would he get a touch pro2? and read the info, he says this is the ported touch pro2 keyboard. if this were the touch pro2 then it wouldn't be a port.
Shit you got me there, I didn't watch the whole video.
But at least it's not a Touch Pro 2, considering this video was released only about a week after the launch event. How could he get his hands on a Touch Pro 2 now, let alone February 23.
Even still, why would he say that this is a port from the Touch Pro 2 if he's actually using a Touch Pro 2?
Ah, I think I figured it out. It's probably the Xperia X1. It's obviously not the Touch Pro 2, and it can't be the original Touch Pro since it has an offset keyboard, which the X1 does have. He even said in the video that the port was for WVGA devices like the Touch HD and the Xperia. I doubt he wouldn't list the phone he's using.
lol took you guys that long to figure out, the form factor is unmistakable, then again i do work for a phone company. btw the phone is very annoying to use not just the on screen keyboard but the whole device is hard to use with finger input because of the screen shape and high resolution everything is really small. its fine with stylus though.
how did you make the keyboard blink lights?????//

The video is showing a Touch HD, cuz the Pro 2 has an actual slide out keyboard, with the tilt and suff

LoL,
what's the point in showing us the on-screen keyboard.?
If you're gonna buy something that big, you're gonna use that pull out keyboard without a doubt!
darthba11er 2 years ago
That's a touch hd, not the touch pro2, so there's no hardware keyboard

Its a Touch Pro 2 not a Touch HD.

Touch HD doesn't have a build in hard keyboard idiot. look at 2:24 when he slides the keyboard then the screen orientation changes to landscape.
If you can not see the sliding keyboard go and get a new monitor instead of the cheap one you are already using. Or may be you need eyeglasses

why is it obviously not the the touch pro 2
joemamma333jackmamma 2 years ago
Because it's obviously the Xperia, but this video was posted 4 months ago, way before the Touch Pro 2 would have been available to someone like this.
