Who in your opinion is the closeset representation of Star Saber in the modern lines? I think Energon Megatron looks the part if you give him a new head and replace his tank weapon

I got one recently, great toy although I'm a little afraid the sword blade could be fragile (fortunately it stores in the shoulder), but the rest of the figure seems pretty sturdy. A Victory Leo would be nice to go with him, but maybe I can get one later.

His manager advised him to limit his youtube presence, so he uploads videos every once in a wild (not recently though) and only a few people can access them after a certain period of time (including Thecollector75).

I have difficulty in getting the Star Saber face on mine to stay down and remain in its nominal position. Do you have any suggestions, for even in display, I cannot just leave a small rock on his head. I also am missing the saber blade and rifle for my figure, and cannot find them on ebay, Where might I find them cheaply? Your feedback is much appreciated.

yes that face plate is a big prob on mine too, i just put a small piece of blutac under the plate then push the head down as normal and then just push hard where the blutac is and it should stay down and if done right , not even noticable. im not sure where you can get a replacement blade other than keep looking on ebay im affaid. hope that helped

I heard that V-Star can transform into a battle station.Can it really do that?

Know that more accurately, it is a battle platform for Saber. Know that it appeared in the Victory manga, and is formed by rotating the Star Saber legs 90 degrees out from their nominal position (he does the splits). Know that you must also rotate the arms until they are perpendicular with the body, with the gun shoulders pointing forward. If Saber stands on the Star Saber legs, he can make a sort of turret out of the Star Saber head.

the robot master versions are very good, just smaller in size. star saber cost me £70 and victory leo was about £100

Star Saber is one cool toy! He should be reissued for release outside Japan, exellent review. The Jet, smaller robot is supposed to be called Saber and the larger part of the toy called the V Star, but once they combine they become Star Saber, but it's safe to say many fans just call him Star Saber. Once again a superb review. ^_^

I've played with this toy before and I wasn't impressed by it. I was really disappointed in the quality (or lack of) in the plastic used for this toy. I find this toy quite sub-par by 1989 standards.

i have him and victory leo i found them at family dollar but star saber's legs wont move into vehicle mode :( (not the huge ones the tiny ones at family dollar ) but the can combine :)

I love how you cover how tough the figure is. And I love that sword! Hah! I also enjoy how his relative lack of mobility doesn't bother you. I like articulation, but not at the cost of robustness.
