Honestly, I hope they don't make a new contract with the WGA by this Summer. Then the Directors and Actors guilds' contracts will be up as well, and the 3 of them can basically pick whatever terms they want. I mean, you can get by without some writers for a while... but without everyone, there's no show.

I'm on the side of the WGA, Kirbys. What I'm saying is that if the AMPTP doesn't deal with the WGA now, in 6 months they'll have to deal with the united front of the main 3 Unions responsible for production of television and movies... all at once. That gives them a LOT of bargaining chips. If the WGA settles now, they'll get a worse deal than they could in a few months, as hard as it may be to wait.

Ah, it's all good. Your post was critical but obviously your passionate about it. So am I. Like I said, it was just a random thought, and you are absolutely right!! I see more about the strike online then on tv, obviously. Good point as well. If the masses aren't going to hear about it on tv, this is the best place to get ACCURATE info, instead of the skewed BS on tv.

In the end, we all just want to see the strike end soon, with the writers getting what they deserve...
