  • Thank you Wilson, I have been watching all your you tube videos. And am learning a lot. I just wish your signature brushes and other products will be made available in the Philippines. All my best wishes to your continuing sucess. May millions of people benefit from your teaching!

  • That's brilliant! I have huge respect for people who can paint like you.

  • Yes, the same brushstrokes will yield the same results.

  • is it possible to use the same techniques shown here with acrylics and get the same effect?

  • I subscribed :3

  • I love the rose you made for the demonstration even more than the finished one :)) it's more artistic.. BEAUIFUL!

  • awesome this is what I was looking for thank-you soooooooooooooo much ;o)

  • wooow

  • Great job on the rose but please do this video again with a better angle and lighting. Thanks!

  • Thanks for the video, Wilson. Pity about th camera work.

  • @Barrykee Yes it is, but I didn't realize it 'til it was all said and done. I used the same camera positioning and layout as all of my previous videos, so I assumed that would be fine. Lesson learned for next time! But, I think it still shows enough of the process to get the idea across. I've had many "YouTubers" paint these and send the photos to me and they all did well with them.

  • U r a true atriste..

  • how come my other color gets mixed in with the bottom layer? thank you

  • @wobushiwo7 My guess is that you aere either laying down too much of the base color, which will make it more prone to be "picked up" and mixed in. Scrub that initial layer down thinner. Also, when applying the upper layers, use a lot of paint on the brush and a light touch. A light touch will deposit the paint "on top" and not dredge the undercolor up through it.

  • You helped me a ton! PLEASE keep posting videos!

  • oh mgg ,that rose looks so real, wawwwwwwwwww ,thanks for sharing this great video =D

    hugs

    helen

  • Wow, thank you, that looks really good! I love painting but don't know any techniques now. I'll try this!

  • very nice. thanks for sharing!

  • move you hand so I can see it paint. This is Barb.

  • Very good.

Did you know that Youtube allows you to create 15 min videos now?

  • @Topdoginuk I wasn't aware of that until a week AFTER I'd filmed these! Drat!!

But, I'll know better next time! lol

  • nice to see you again Mr. Wilson.... :-)

  • Thanks for showing this. It would be great if your cameraman could film to the right so we can see the strokes while your painting instead of the back of your hand.

    Love it though!! TFS

  • @lwood8 I agree. I didn't realize at the time that my hand was blocking so much of the view. But, I think it still gets my point and my process across.

  • Very beautiful.

Very nice of you to show us the process.

    Thank you.
