I didn't support Bush overspending . But in 6 months O has bankrupted future generations. Healthcare reform should be implemented by allowing tax deductions for healthcare, portability, and TORT reform because lawsuits are the reason doctors spend @ 300K a yr in malpractice insurance. make Congress enroll in the same plan. The current congressional plan is privately managed w/a ton of choices. There has been so much baloney thrown into HR 3200 that it is unacceptable .
If you want to be denied surgeries, sign up for a public option, put govt bureaucrats WHO CANNOT BE SUED FOR MALPRACTIVE in charge of your life. the govt has no solutions but to take your $ and spend it for you. They screwed up fannie mae and freddie mac, they misread the deficit by about 6 trillion, they ignore CBO reports on how untenable this thing is and we are suppposed to trust these crooks? Get rid of them in 2010 and kick the Joker out ASAP.
We did vote them out last November remember. I wonder where these people were when President Bush was running up the largest deficit in the history of this country and bringing the economy to its knees with a no regulation anything goes polices with the banking system. I saw it coming. My dad's a war veteran and has got very good healthcare from the government run VA even with the cuts Bush made. We dont want to go that far but we need healthcare reform.
Wow this is not the opinion of everybody in Baker City. It is amazing and scary that the multi billion dollar insurance companies that dont want this to pass have been able to influence the very people whom President Obamas heath pan would help the most by putting out lies. This country needs health care reform. People should not be dieing, going without life saving surgeries they need because the insurance companies only insure the people who are not likely to use it.
