i think you might be the ONLY one on youtube with real Rose Red Lady Gaga heartbeats. I bought mine from Amazon.com and it was sold by Amazon themself, not a company selling it thru amazon. At first i was worried, but when i received it today, it was exactly the same as yours. I got my heartbeats about a month and a half before you did, same color and everything and I got a silver case rather than red lol. I like that they're pairing matching cases with the heartbeats but theres something about that shade of red that just rubs me the wrong way. It think its simply the finish, it reminds me of those icky hard shell hershey kiss's "Kissables" lol. Either way, the headphones themselves are great.

Most of the fakes come from eBay sellers located in China. The real Heartbeats come with 5 different-sized pairs of ear tips, and the fakes only come with 3 pairs (though there are some fakes with 5 pairs).

Counterfeiters are getting pretty sophisticated. There are even fake iPods.

its not just the desighn, the speakers in the earphones are made by dr.dre, a very high quality, headphones producer, and probably the leading and highest quality headphones producer. plus, yeah, the desighn is awsome as well :)
