Musicians like Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails have realized they can put out their music w/out being forced to pay labels huge contracts. He has offered his last few albums for free, with the option to buy other versions, and STILL makes more money than you ever will. There's NO need for the current system. I have an idea, it may be out there but...

whenever you find a silenced video, convince yourself to make a silent video response. I.e. one without an audio track, as a statement against youtube's destruction of original content. The video can have anything in it, cats maybe, but the point needs to be made that we cannot be silenced.

Put a statement in the video description to this effect and make a stand.Make this our way to get attention, an internet revolution.
