  • Want to see something t make you ponder? Watch this movie then watch "Phenomenon " right after and see if it all falls into place

  • definitely a drama of the mysteries.

  • @turarosicky

I agree, this is one of my top 5 faves. If you like this movie, you should also check out Phenomenon. You may have ready seen it. Same guy who made Powder... Victor Salva, and it's another sad yet feel good movie.

  • this is my favorite movie of all time, I just cannot stop crying while I'm watching this moment

I'm 18 now, last time I watch this film when I was 8 or 9. until today I don't remember the name of this film

I go to google and just write: bald guy drama film.

and I found it. I'm so happy. great old memories man

  • Powder as the only movie that I hate to admit ever made me cry. (reasons for this are private and exstensive)

  • LET ME GO MUSIC....I WILL REMAIN HERE PAPA WITH EVERY LYRICS

  • ive never cried harder in my life before i watched this movie. the best!

  • As we evolve, imho, we will still have our bodies. We are too young still to think we can just discard them yet. There is something to be said about a perfected body, one aligned with mission and purpose of the soul. When one detaches from thoughts of separation and recognizes the absolute connection with All That Is there is progress.... We still have much to learn. Like any process, protocols are in place to lead us to an awakened space.

  • Thus, the birth of He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named.

  • @DexwardCuxann and smashing pumpkins

" TGO-Oliveira

  • One of my favorites

  • i always start bawling at 1:54. this movie is amazing

  • I LOVE IT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • powder you run like a chick

  • Very nice. Regards, Telmo.

  • PURA BELLEZA , PURA BELLEZA Y MIL VECES PURA BELLEZA

    TE TOCA EL ALMA

  • not that i believe in God ,Gods or angels, but i do believe in enrgy..

  • I love this film so much. In a perfect world, we would ALL have the mentality of Powder.

  • Never heard of this movie

  • this movie makes one to be a really "human" being

  • great movie and was not reconized enough at its time of how good it was !! and its meaning, if you understand it. !! what a greatly Evolved human being powder was !!!!!

From Pure energy he went bact to its source !!

  • It's sad, it's like Michael Jackson's life is base off of this guy name POWDER. The world kept messing with MJ/Powder until they got fed up and went back home. Like an angel

  • Thats one powder I dont want to snort.

  • Maybe it's just me and my perspective of this is wrong. But I always viewed Powder as an angel in the form of a human body, who displayed the concept of perfect love, beauty, compassion, and wisdom. In the end he was brought home away from the disgustness and evil of the world.

  • @LastSunrise1981 : He is pure energy, the top of human evolution.

  • @LastSunrise1981 would have to disagree that he was an angel . but i think of a greek descendent of Zeus himself.who had the power of lightning. so it would make Powder a demi god or a god..

  • Dude became energy..

  • @wallythecount right?

  • The final evolution of all mankind the ability to become one with the universe.

  • And furthermore, I don't think I've ever heard such a gorgeous theme song, ever!!!

  • This is one amazing movie. So full of emotion and powerful scenes. I just love it!!!!

  • Furthermore, those who quickly dismiss those who dislike this movie - ironically - demonstrate the lack of vision that this movie (poorly) attempts to examine. The ego demonstrated by the individual below who claims to have the "third eye" and those that dislike the movie lack it - ironically - shows they don't have the third eye at all, nor understand the fundamental lesson that this movie was attempting 2 portray. If u truly understand the lesson, u would not be bothered by any post in here.

  • Some of you hippies need to calm the fuck down. It was a movie, and a poor one at that. If you want to learn about the connection between mind, body and spirit - read some actual philosophical texts with substance and rigor. This movie was nothing but hollywood fluff poorly attempting to capture the essence of the words of some great minds. I ridicule the movie for its poor attempt. We are all connected, but that does not mean those who found this movie crap don't understand what that means.

  • the effects are awesome

  • Amen, Hallelujah, Peanut Butter

  • After a insight in 2010, I was skeptical, ignorant about universe, about energy, life, conection. Now I can truelly understand this scene. Makes me cry..of joy...Peace...

  • He became one with Brahman. Amen.

  • i looooove this movie

  • some of these comments allows us to see who is connected and who is not, if people have not open there third eye to see what is the true meaning behind powder, its because your not blessed with the third eye to see past that blind spot powder was speaking to the girl about in the (YOUR PART OF EVERYTHING )YOUTUBE VIDEO UPLOAD. If your lost then this is why god decided you were not worth the sight to see past just your two eyes..sad for you because its beautiful when your born or find the vision.

  • We will one day cast off these primitive, aching and aging bodies needing pills and surgery and be pure orbs of energy! It's evolution! I bet it's that way somewhere out there already!

  • @MrThesheenster hmm... not exactly sure what u mean by "evolution" since what u describe would never come about due to medical and technological advancements delaying what was already a super-slow evolutionary process in humans. but it's a nice little fairy tale.

  • awesome.......energy at it's finest!

  • Humans are incredibly funny. Some of these comments... Our humor will save us in the end.

  • @ArtsAlign We always laugh first when we are not capable of understanding. Brother, I can’t say that “Ignorance is Bliss” I guess I know a little better….Peace to earth…and there’s no ending, only change, evolution…

  • The actors' reactions were *priceless*. I would've fallen to my knees.

  • I miss Jerry...

  • R.I.P Billy Corgan

  • a trollish man is patrolling this videos responses..

  • Lance Henriksen molests himself at 1:55. Lord Voldemort lives.

  • Jeff Goldblum cums at 1:49. Everyone celebrates.

  • Lance Hendricksons reaction at the end is ours. Steenbutgen is an exellent actress and Goldblum is as always wonderful!

  • Does he remind you of Voldemort in a way? .... Like the first part of the movie Harry Potter 7 where Voldemort finally gets the ultimate wand and lightning spews out of it? Hah but anyways this movie was absolutely perfect, it captures emotion so well.

  • play this video with benny hill in the background.. prepare to shit brix

  • the most beautiful movie ive ever seen.without a doubt

  • i grew up watching these kinds of movies...

like Powder, Dark City, Bicentennial man, etc...

    thank you for that :)

  • I think he just impregnated them all.

  • heeee heee heeeeeeeeee

  • I always new Micheal Jackson would go to Heaven.

  • This movie was basically Twilight without all the cool vampires and werewolves. In other words, you're watching a bald Edward Cullen sulk for 2 hours, and then fly into the sky. GREAT movie, GUYZ!

  • This has got to be one of the stupidest movies I've seen in my life. At the end, neither of the 4 standing characters has any idea how to react, except to channel the moment when they took the greatest shit in their lives. What are you all on? This was nothing but white supremacy propaganda, and y'all just been PUNK'D.

  • @brapitybrapbrap I see you learned nothing from it. Sad

  • @MrThesheenster If you "learned" something from this movie, then you have the mental capacity of a child. There is nothing to learn from Powder except that he has the depth of E.T., the emotion of Spock and he plagiarizes/butchers/mangles the thoughts of His Holiness the Dalai Lama into nonsensical gibberish. Read a book or thousand.

  • @brapitybrapbrap How sad you are. You stopped learning. E.T should have won best picture and the Dalai Lama is a crutch to you liberals. Shame:-( You hid yourself from me? Boooo!

  • @brapitybrapbrap How sad you are. You stopped learning. E.T should have won best picture and the Dalai Lama is a crutch to you liberals. Shame:-( You hid yourself from me? Boooo! P.S. You do not know me! I though now know you or your kind.....

  • @MrThesheenster English definitely isn't your first language, nor is thinking intelligently it seems. What does Dalai Lama have to do with Liberals? lol I'm not a Liberal, moron. The irony is that you claim to have learned from Powder who's, in fact, regurgitating the very same teachings of "oneness" that's common to Eastern religious philosophy, including that of the Dalai Lama's. For the sake of humanity, fly off a bridge and become one with the Earth - just like Powder and the sky - WINNING!

  • @brapitybrapbrap Insulting elitist. The Dalai Lama is a liberal crutch, a liberal prop. You're insulting. That means you are afraid and bitter, lonely too? Here you allude to my death? What a horrid person you are. What you calll yourself is not the point since you are ugly inside and and label you attach to that is immaterial. You are intolerant, smallminded and cruel. I shall no longer communicate with you. God help you in you abject misery. :-(

  • I think that powder wanted to be part of something, and as we saw in the movie, he realizes that humanity would never accept someone like him, so he decided to go where he can really be himself and that was nature! (Sorry my english :P)

  • @TheCarolynquiroz not necessarily, the philosophy of this movie to me is more along the lines of him wanting to belong and that meant giving himself to something higher/ bigger than himself..... it's all up to interpretation but it doesn't necessarily mean he gave himself to nature as he also talks about God earlier in the movie and various others... peace

  • @lifelessperson1993 for me, being part of nature it is also being part of God's creations! Being above human understanding! I guess I didnt maike myself cleare in my comment :P

    Peace! :)

    two thumbs up,

    greatest movie ending there is

  • soooo beautiful what a way to go !

  • I've saw this movie when i was a little girl... years ago... This movie change my life since then. now i'm 18 and everytime i watch it i fell hope

  • This movie has one of my fav actors in it, Lance Henriksen. And is probably one of his best performances after Alien. Only found this movie two days ago and I don't regret it! It's one of the best movies I've seen.

  • CADA QUE VEO ESTA ESCENA LLORO!!!

  • the best movie of all time.

  • damn i remember watching this when i was a lil kid in elementary.....im 23 now.....

  • @TheSupercharged04 I know the feeling Iam 24

  • @ the way to Déja vu ...

  • looks like E.T finally made it home

  • peace at last

  • I WISH THAT IT COULD BE ME!!!!

  • there is a heaven

  • Shame the director was a child molester apart from that the movie was cool.

  • @Urdalibertine The ironies of life..............this whole universe is like one big Broadway play.......

  • Beautiful move.

  • beautiful

  • most beautiful movie ever made me cry

  • I'm 24 years old, and it makes me so sad that many people do not remember nor acknowledge this movie! It is so well directed, and the acting is wonderful!

  • @trogdorthe8th Agreed...

  • look god just use chi on powder!! :D

  • the end symbolized spiritual perfection. It's when the soul gets to be one with the SOURCE and gets to take part in the unceasing quantum activity of the universe!! This is why we are here, to grow spiritually. :-)

  • @Illiyuwn couldn't have put it any better myself..... peace and love 2 you!!!

  • @XShamuelX thank you, same to you my quantum friend. The biggest obstacle to humans in achieving spiritual perfection is the EGO. Learning to let go and resisting the delicacies of the material plane is the key to unlocking our maximum potential! This doesn't mean don't have emotion, it means control your emotions. :-)

    Merci.

  • Beam me up Scotty, there is no intelligent life here.

  • @Urdalibertine L O L

  • @Urdalibertine

i love you holy crap that is the one of the most amazing comment ive ever seen on youtube

im gonna subscribe to you just because of that comment

  • Actually if you watched the movid you'd know that Jeremy got nothing to do with God, at the end he became pure energy, those 4 folks got hit by the blast and experienced the energy thats why they behaved the way they did ;P

I wonder if something like that is possible, that a human can transcend, change the form ;O

  • @Michkuty The most intelligent profound people that have ever walked this planet disagree with you, According to Einstein, Jung, Campbell, Buddha, God is that COLLECTIVE UNCONSCIOUS DIVINE ENERGY WE ARE ALL A PART OF. We just have to wake up and realize it! Even quantum physics indicate this we are just atoms arranged in time and space, in perticular forms set up by a greater consciousness that are playing out roles of be-do-have in this material, physical form.

  • @woodfixit umm just because they are the smartest in certain fields doesn't mean that they are any smarter than me in the religious matter. Remember that Einstein's GR as well as quantum mechanics are just theories, they may be replaced any time by better theories. Well why won't you wake up then? You make it sound so easy. Just because you don't know something doesn't mean it has to be some divine thing.

  • @Michkuty Don't get caught up with words, Divine can simply mean, one that is cause over matter, cause over effect. There is something in this universe that is causing this energy we call life to be, do, have. If you are alive you enjoy, pursue, crave this experience be it mouse, deer, human, dog.

Jung after thousands of hours of study and yrs of study of humanity, religion-(bind together) that our collective unconscious is the energy that is causing all these manifestations of consciousness.

  • @woodfixit Word.

  • what the heck was that?

  • @youmonkey36 Personally, being I just watched the movie on cable recently, Jeremy became pure energy so he could be anywhere. Or perhaps that his weakness which was electricity and he used it to free himself from his body. He said in the movie earlier that His grandparents believe in God and asked Lance Henriksens character if he believes in God.

  • @clonedkeifer thank you for that clonedkeifer

  • @clonedkeifer He knew what can and would happen when he ran into the field. He wanted to escape the sadness which he suffered through most of his life and the misery he had just experienced by interacting with the outside world. He decided it was best FOR HIM to just escape and use his vast knowledge and extraordinary capabilities to achieve what Einstein had theorized, he became E=mc(squared)...

  • awww omg i love thise film it still makes me cry i always thought Jeremy Was an angel sent to earth to test us he had celectrial powers and such a beautiful kind loving nature

  • @freacls

    love your comment

  • @FriendlyCroock thank you ;)

  • sad but brilliant movie

  • I "ll race you there!!!!

  • AWESOME! Gave me shivers down my spine! Got this movie.

  • God love us !

  • so original

  • I remember when the trailer was on tv for this, and everytime I saw it, I'd get creeped out because a) he's so damn PALE and b) the scene where lightning strikes him, and he gets lifted up. I was like "wtf kind of weirdass movie is this?? An albino guy lifted up in the air by electricity and a bolt coming out of his chest? ook..."

  • Was he an angel?

  • @HeatherRuthDiane no, just a anotherhuman being...

  • @HeatherRuthDiane he defenetly was they say Angels take many forms to walk amongst us so we never know whos sitting next to us but Jeremy was one of gods angels far too good for earth

  • Beautiful ending. Awesome movie.

  • 0:03 is that jeff goldblume?
