  • Con esta escena, Erick se gano mi corazón

  • Eric ripped my heart out of my chest when he started speaking in another language. Did you here his voice? It was so...desperate and sad. God I wanted to...hug him. :'(

  • This scene is really moving. When Eric fell to his knees in the deepest part of my soul I knew exactly how he felt. I felt the same pain when my Grandfather passed away. What separates a good show from a great show is acting. True Blood has far and away the best cast on TV right now. The only other show that I personally think come close would be The Sopranos no other show on now can touch it.

  • Omg I wanted to cry... But since I'm watching this on my iPad it would have been awkward if my family seen me burst in tears...

  • this scene is so beautiful

  • poor Eric

  • this was SO powerful....truly one of the best scenes in television history

  • This is the most emotionally beautiful scene in the entire show.

  • God! I've seen this like a million times and every single time I cry!!!!!

  • 0:37

    "Godric gör det inte.."

I feel so bad for Eric ; - ; uhuhuhuhuuhuh.

  • i wanted to see godrics potential we only saw a snippet same with russel

  • What is the song at 3:50?

  • I'm torn between the like and the dislike buttion. I do not like this video for the plain reason that Godric died. But I like it at the same time because of the beautiful raw emotion between maker and child, this, hands down is the best and the worst scene in all four seasons of True Blood for it's individual reasons. I find myself breathtless each time I watch it, but the tears never cease.

  • 2000 years and his ink never faded. What an amazing artist he must have been.

  • Watching Eric cry breaks my heart... </3

But I do understand, why Godric did it. After 2000 years you have seen and lived through anything. And if he belives, the world he lives in, is not the world he wanted to create, I get that he wants to escape.

  • Godric come back!

  • Omg, Eric sound so funny ''Godric, gör det inte!''

  • Fader. Broder. Son.

  • I saw this film three times, plus the clips on youtube and I cry every time ... yet we are running at the end of the second series, so I want to ask: Will Eric ever about my feelings? The Sookie or the waitress, what should be in another series?

  • I think it's the only scene in true blood that's made me cry. :)

  • SAD SCENE

  • i love the tv godric but i didnt like the way the book portrayed him, and didnt elabaorte on it

  • Oh jeese>_< As soon as Eric started pleading, I was done... I'm freakin crying nowT__T

  • This is my favourite scene in True Blood because it shows what an incredible actor Alexander Skarsgard is. It brings tears to my eyes every time. :P

  • I'd give this a thumbs down only because I never wanted to see Godric die! Why do I always cry at this scene!?!

  • @TheAngelgirl1992 It's Swedish, actually, but the words sound really similar in Norwegian (and apparently Danish.) As an American who lived with a mixture of Swedes and Norwegians and picked Norwegian up by ear, the languages are so similar to me, they may as well be dialects. I don't technically speak Swedish, but I understand almost every word Eric says. Not Godric so much. He has a weird way of forming words when he's talking fast.

  • This scene gets me every time...*wipes away tear*

  • finally a video with no dislikes

  • i never understood why he did it

  • I love this scene..it is so sad. and i always have to cry when i watch it again .... oh Godric :'(

  • is it odd that this scene makes me smile and cry?

  • Godric was so badass he went up in majestic blue flames.

  • When Eric falls to his knees, dude, I let loose.

  • "As your maker, I command you." *cry* Best scene in True Blood. So sad.

  • Same here! God...i dont cry at these scenes much but this one..really touched me godric shouldve lived and not left eric all alone

  • i still cry when i see this....

  • This scene actually made me cry. We get to see a side to Eric that we've never seen. I respect Godric, but we needed him to live. As an example to what Vampires should be.

  • Favorite scene in true blood. Right up until Sookie opened her mouth and ruined it...

  • I think Russell and Godric are both epic. Im lookin 4ward and hoping they will show the King of NY! Now he has to be badass!!!

  • at 1:02 Godric says a couple words in the language Dutch.

  • @TheAngelgirl1992 : It's Swedish lol. He says "Father, Brother, Son". Eric(Askars) is also speaking Swedish.

  • @TheAngelgirl1992 It's Swedish, actually, but the words sound pretty much the same in Norwegian and Danish. The spelling of them is where they're most different. Any Norwegian, Dane, or Swede would be able to understand the conversation. Hell, I'm not even fluent in Norsk, but I understand when Alexander Skarsgard speaks.

  • you can really see how much eric cares about godric in this scene. usually when you see eric he's usually so mellow but in this scene he is so raw and emotional I just wanted to go up to him and wrap him in my arms and hold him close ;(

  • Oh, this scene was so heart-wrenching. Eric is so raw and emotional, I just want to comfort him. Alexander did a phenomenal job.

  • So beautifully tragic. Alexander was amazing, I remember rewatching the part between Eric and Godric over and over before finishing the episode.

  • I hope they sumhow bring Godric bak!

  • I kind of hated Godric for doing this to Eric...

  • they speak swedish ordenary swedish alltough godric`s accent is way of...even i can hear it and i am Norwegian not Swedish

  • Why ist he burning so fast? While other vampires (Bill, Eric, Russel) are slowly friing to meatballs?

  • @Summi81 He burns so fast because he's soooo old. The older they get, the more susceptible they are to sunlight. The reason that Russell lasts so long is because he's had Sookie's blood, which delays the effects.

  • @GeauxTigers2008 but that doesnt make sense. russel is older than godric and he burned sooo slowly. or was that because of the silver.

  • @Summi81 bill is toy child comparing with those. eric and russell burned slowly to meatballs cause of sookie's blood.

  • @Summi81 Even after 7 months what the hell. He's 2100 years old. Older you are, quicker you burn. And at 2+ millennia... Erci & Russel dindnt burn as fast cause they drank Sookie's fairy blood. And Bill, well he's 170 Years old... He dosent burn that fast.

  • What language is that they speak between them? Between Eric and Godric I mean, I've heard it before and it sounds very beautiful, plz do tell me!

  • Letting Godric die: Alan Ball's biggest mistake EVER.

  • @LisaAngel1993 i think they're bringing him back...

  • Comment removed

  • I love how you expect Godric to be old and wise and when you see him he is a teenager...

I think his form compliments his very philosophy...

  • @Sephiroth32vergil i agree. And the name Godric (meaning strength/power of God) is perfect 4 the t.v character... Love it how vunerable Godric is with Sookie. All 3 actors are brilliant here. I cry everytime Eric breaks down...Beautiful.

  • I love Erics loyalty. He really loves Godric and doesn't want to lose him yet in the end he respects Godric wishes in the end. A beautiful scene and weel acted by all involved. Here's hoping we get a few more Eric and Godric flashbacks and maybe even some Pam and Eric.

  • If a vampire bit me, I would hate him sooo much. Why do vampires actually like their makers?

  • It really was a good idea to make Godric Erics maker, in the books Godric was just this crazy vampire who save Sookie from getting raped and wanted to die by the sun cause of all the things he had done it his vampire life. Sookie only felt sorry for him cause he saved her life, but the Godric in the show became more. He not only became Erics maker we got to know his character, personality, and the emotions he has come to feel after all those years of living. My favorite twist from book to show.

  • This should have been the season finale.

  • This scene was beautifully done <3 I liked how much more attention they gave the character of Godric in the show and how they developed him. He wasn't actually Eric's maker in the books - but it makes for a nice emotional arc in the story to rewrite it as such. In the books, after the whole FOTS incident Sookie just sees him go up in flames just outside the church - no pomp and circumstance to it at all. This scene is much better:]

  • Eric is so beautiful I love him

  • Oh wow, I love this scene!

  • This is why Godric is a massively better vampire and character than Russel.

  • Godric and Eric were very nice together...The perfect couple.

Godric didn't even need to die, it's like they just threw it in there. "Let's kill an amazing character for no reason! Let's ruin everyones hopes and dreams of Eric and Godric ever being together happily!"

  • you are really right! i disagree too godric shouldn't die.

  • God I cried so hard watching this scene. I know some people don't think the casting was right with Godric but I disagree. It was perfect. The entire scene, Anna, Alexander and Allan (heh all A's) where perfect. God I love true blood.
