at what point does an awesome fan trailer turn into a sub par actual show, because this is right in between those 2.

Ironically i can see how the show following the game so closely is actually bad. things like the anomolies and the anomaly detector look REALLY cheesy in the show, i can't see people other than fans of the game getting into it even though it has SO much more potential than that.

I share the enthusiasm for a tv show based on one of the most immersive games of the current decade but honestly this trailer doesn't promise anything outstanding. Where's the atmosphere of abandonment and desolation, the gritty and life worn stalkers warming by the fire, the sense of danger and alienation? What I see is a buch of actors wearing douchebag bandanas and Clark Gable moustache in a vid shot on electronic cam with totally unnatural colors. Promising?
