  • i heard the wind sing today ...i remembered this ong :o) ~

  • they are minstrels themselves. beautiful song, great band.

  • Great song!!

  • John Lodge (bassist) wrote both this song and "I'm Just a Singer (In a Rock and Roll Band)". Considering both songs together, he seems to purvey the message that musicians should be more concerned with edifying and uplifting the audience's emotions than trying to force a divisive or controversial opinion. The Moodies sure have held to this through their career. A beautiful band and a beautiful song.

  • As much as I love you, Jesus loves you so much more. He is God. Pours out love, grace, kindness, friendship, forgiveness. Oh trust Him. Ask Him into your heart.

  • thanks for the sharing the inspiration

  • Justin(and Moodies) sing their minstrel songs which are always in short supply on earth. commercial success was never the priority and thank goodness. the music and lyrics rise above , are profound , uplift , teach (not preach) , etc.....i even like Justin as a roll model for me (my daughter Kirsten too). i am curious as to how he remains HUMBLE and grounded.

  • The Moodies have to be one of the best bands. Their lyrics gave such hope, their music such beauty.

  • a song from the heart

  • If these lyrics and melodies were adopted as the guiding principles to our lives...what a wonderful world it would be! "Everywhere love is all around"

    C'mon!

  • @JohnMan59 Hi. am not going to give you any spam. All i will say is that the message of peace the feeling of peace has been available in the west for forty years now, if you ever feel like it drop me a line.Y wont get a lecture ever i will just pass you to the global peace site for you to make up your own mind.

  • What ever happened to the ideals expressed in these songs? Society is morally inept. We could all learn from the messages displayed in these songs.

  • Follow our friends...our wandering friends. Love is all around...here the nations sing...song a sting will come......Love is all around. Listen to the one who sings of love. every where love is all around. Follow our friend....our wandering friend.

    Been listening to these guys since '67 {'Go now'}

All I can say is..'follow our friends, our wandering friends...Love is all around...'

  • @t2012burns Its interesting you mention Go Now. I have Moody fan friends who have never heard of that song. Go figure.

  • Jolly old tune !

  • ..the most poetic, spiritual, multi-dimensional, consciously profound band ever!

    they're singing about themselves here....

  • the name of the swing/show choir that I was in, in high school was called the Mintrels. This was our opening song for each performance for many years. Great memories!

  • a beautiful and simple song.

  • all the animals and people are walking together in peace.

  • great memories... great band!

  • This has always been one of my favorite Moody songs. I would have loved to have heard it in concert this past Spring and Summer. Hopefully someday they will. Peace. Love, Jusfriend

  • This is another example of the great variety and depth of the Moody Blues musical abillities. Ahhhhhhhh. Pure love. Peace.
