If you want your Wing Chun to be more effective, then try to use your back foot to keep pressing forward keeping your leading leg in between his to stop him from kicking and then start working those chain punches.
i can only give feedback regarding wing chun, since it is what i study. i notice you kept your structure, though your wan sau and wu sau started to sag in part 2. i was hoping to see more sticking and bridging and roundabout footwork (huen bo).
some people just don't know how to use wing chun. word of advise if you don't no how to fight using wing chun you can get really hurt even against an amuture such as yourself.
wtf wing chun is a load of fucked up shit, even if that geeza cant do it propa, the otha geeza cant do nothin right n looks like a propa cunt. poor video!
first of all wing chun is the most deadlyest martial art known to man this person was not doing it properly wen the boi kicks a standerd wing chun move wud be to block and attack at the same time wile moving in leaveing a deadly finish attack wing chun isnt rely a art to mess about with because of its dangerous moves witch involve taking sumones eyes out or breaking the arm leg hiting there throat thats why its not a big sport like boxing its not a joke for kids
wing chun is the deadliest martial art. see.. you gotta understand my wing chun practitioner brother. this is a spar. as you can see this is an old spar, a very old spar. so please understand that there are improvement over the past years.
but a real muay thai fighter dont get tired fast.WC is tha shit.the will never attack at first blablabla if you have ever seen one champ in UFC?the good old Pride or DREAM?no also..every toug Muay thai fighter fucks up a WC fighter
what? dont talk with knowing what your saying just to make a point. cung le was the strike force middleweight champion for a period, but NEVER a ufc champ. in my opinion he never really fought any top notch fighters either. he is pretty decent though. also he is NOT a wing chun practioner, though he is a sanshou practioner. not sure where u get your info from
i understand, in history ip man was the second person to lern wing chun and later to teach bruce lee the first form wing chun was the same then and is the same now nuthing has chaiged im sorry if i sounded rude i dident mean to its juss what im seeing in front of me is just a bigginner, if the person has improved please make another video and show us
Well don wing chun guy, you kept strikes away, kept your composure and left the other guy feeling knackered, which in real life, would have given you the advantage to go in for the kill.
both people in this video seems to be a little new to the art. i noticed about the same level of skill in both of you, so you were pretty evenly matched. i have to comment on Alex though, his blocks we're a little off, especially for a boxer, i would expect more bobbing and more efficient blocks, and his kicks weren't quite hitting where they were supposed to.
you gotta read the description. you realize this was more than a year ago? since then till now. i have improved all my forms, but no one is willing to challenge me.
Dont bother replying to people who posts such direspectfull opinions, most of these people who go on youtube posting these are young people who have no experience in martial arts, continue your journey with wing chun and i wish you good fortune. Good video.
0.54, for instance you give your side instead of having a frontal stance on the centerline, its a more classical shaolin tactic, this way you are a harder to hit target for you opponent.
yeah but on your side you only have two ready weapons as opposed to 4. the back two come wit a delay and so a telegraph. real wing chun is done front on anything else is an off shoot of traditional style and is inferior.
you are very right, wing chun will only work if you are very rigid on its principles. Therefor its imposible to train sparring or compeet in sports events. Wing chun is effective because the most important idea in wing chun is that: "other people are stronger and better rounded fighters" So a good wt practicioner stops the fight long before it starts to look like a fight. Its a soft style, that means that you only start punching on the moment the attacker starts attacking
Pad up guys -- I would like to see the overall outcome of let's say 100 of these battles with the same lab rats over a certian time period to see what changes. But if you keep going like this some one will get hurt and won't feel like going on. (Go skins once every two months)
Performance should be the bottom line and not what you look like. If you are sick in fight, you will look and perform in different way vs. a day you are 100%.
Strength of the Video: 1- Control atmosphere Seems to me that certian rules of engagement were established and maintained. 2. Realistic Contact Pay attention to the body mechanics,
they are trying to hit and not get hit this is why they seem to be stopping short on some of their techniques. Practicing on pads, bags and cooperative opponents don't prepare you for the mental conditions of fight or flight. 3. Neither guy broke form or added a new element.
the supposed muay thai is dreadful. what makes this muay thai? the putting your hand down to kick? the not stepping in at a 45 degree before the kick? the part where he doesnt roll his hips? jump switch stances? haha at 50 seconds was the best kick, use that more. stop rolling your god damn hands this isnt mortal kombat
ok... that's how he fights. each and everyone has their own way of fighting, as long as they're comfortable with the stances. beside, this is more than a year ago, we have improve much since then. you gotta take that in consideration. thank you have a nice day
Hmm, can you go against Tai Chi, Tan Tui, Judo, and American Boxing. Because I wanna see it like this in a real fight, so one day, I can take martial art...
[This isn't my real profile, it's my brothers or his friend. So don't send any complain messages to them, please.]
no he isn't his stances arnt right he doesnt punch right he doesnt kick right he doesnt even move right he is some kid that watched a video and is a try hard
im sure he's referring to both of u. the 1 in white when his hand comes close to yours than u use the push pull systems which is the basics of the basics in wing chun and wing tsun. so are arm locks and wrist locks. and whats even more basic or i should say commen sense is that u never leave a hand hanging out all punches follow a straight line. the skin i'd say shows some experience in the art but mayb not muay thai i have a friend that teaches it to children so he was showing me some moves
the number 1 rule in muay thai is that in every roundhouse kick you always put your hip into it. so am i wrong dude with the skin has exp. or do u both?
well practicing is one thing, applying is a whole different level, maybe the reason why the MT guy did a short kick is because the roundhouse takes much time, who knows it's all comes down to how comfortable you get, nobody plays by the book
If you want your Wing Chun to be more effective, then try to use your back foot to keep pressing forward keeping your leading leg in between his to stop him from kicking and then start working those chain punches.
