@HoKwokWing There is a scene similar to this in 西貢小姐, which the actress sit on the bed and posing for the american soldier whom she fell in love with to sketch her. sorry I can't find any of the clip, but the dialect, screen selecting, even the tone colour of the scene are almost the same. I guess this is the little idea of the scriptwriter and the director ;)

I am Chinese but raised in Canada and your Cantonese is far better than mine! Your ping yum is still a little off but your vocabulary and command of the language is much more comprehensive than many actual Chinese raised abroad. Good luck in your future endeavors! You may be stereotyped but that is because you occupy a very unique niche and have a very rare and valuable talent when Cantonese is beginning to become marginalized in comparison to Mandarin in the world.
