my hp nc6000 sterted having problems 3 days ago,i found that i i press the grey plastic it works as long as i am not moving it and stays on a table,if i suddenly move it,the screen turn black,i wanna fix that chip but i am having problems with disassembling it,for the moment works,i am writing this comment from my nc ,fortunately i have a soldering gun and i am gonna fix it,the point is that this is a very good laptop and beside this problem i never had problems with it and still want to keep it

Hello Cycuarek, thanks for the nice video. Although it is in different language other than English. But I finally managed to separate the Mainboard. I cleaned the Chip 1987 with a thinner and brush. Also cleaned surroundings of the chip. It was difficult to resoldering the chip as it is very sensitive chip. So after cleaning the chip needles i refitted the mainboard and it worked. I don't know how long it work. But for half an hour it works. Wish me good luck!

@shershah77 :) I'm glad to hear it. In my case the laptop broke down after 1.5 years again. So I had to resolder, and it work till today. But in this week I'm going to sell it and buy something better.

witam, ostatno naprawiłęm jednego hp , tylko ja używam lutownicy gazwej na propan butan , temperature na wyczucie grzeje. Znasz jakiś sposób na ustalenie temperatury z lutownicą gazową? Pirometr odpada . Szukam czegoś w rodzaju kredki termometrycznej do lutowania. Znasz jakieś sposoby domowe? na lutowanie gazową lutownicą BGA ?

I wish... but I dont think that is a viable option. The blow dryer will probably not be able to reach the high temperatures this requires, it wont be able to get up close as it needs to, and because the circumference of the dryer is much larger, more heat will dissipate into the surrounding air before it hits the chip.

Also because its so big it could cause you to heat up something that shouldnt be, thats nearby.

Im trying to search for a cheap hot air soldering iron...? gun?... myself...
